Sam Mitchell Returning To Eastenders?
BBC are rumoured to be considering bringing back Daniella Westbrook to play Sam Mitchell in Eastenders.
Daniella left the soap opera in 2000 after battling with a very public cocaine addiction, she was subsequently replaced by Kim Medcalf in the role. However in a storyline designed to rock the relationship of Ricky and Bianca, show bosses are considering bringing Daniella back as Sam, Ricky’s ex.
A show insider told The Sun: “She was the original Sam and the chemistry with Sid Owen as Ricky was exciting stuff.
“If she returns it will be the talk of soapland for months.”
The source added: “This would hark back to the Albert Square brat pack — Ricky, Bianca, Janine and Sam.”

well they had to do something to pickup ratings after killing Danielle!!!!!!! the worst storyline in history!! anyhow..kim shud play Sam..i prefered her..eastenders are not getting it right lately..no wonder the Bill beat eastenders in the Bafta’s!!
