Oscar winning actress Sandra Bullock is set to star in a new comedy series alongside Keith Chegwin and Les Dennis.

The Daily Mirror states that Sandra, who won Best Actress for her performance in The Blind Side, jets in to the UK this month to film “top secret scenes” for Ricky Gervais’s Life’s Too Short.

The “mockumentary” follows dwarf actor Warwick Davis, 41, who starred in fantasy film Willow, as he runs a talent agency for short people.

TV legend Cheggers, and show host Dennis will star along with former EastEnder Shaun Williamson who played the role of hapless Barry.

A source said, “Just having an Oscar winner alongside Cheggers, Les and Shaun is hilarious.

“It just goes to show the sort of pull Ricky Gervais has…

“It [also] shows that Sandra has a sense of humour.”

Comedian Gervais teamed up with regular writing partner Stephen Merchant to create Life’s Too Short, which he describes as “out and out funny”.

Movie star Johnny Depp also has a cameo role in the BBC show, which will be screened later this year.
