Coronation Street star, Ryan Thomas has told The Sun that he is trying to persuade his off screen girlfriend and on screen wife, Tina O’Brien to return to the ITV1 soap opera.

Tina left the show and her character Sarah Platt last autumn and has recently given birth to a baby boy, however Ryan would love to see her back on the street where they first met.

He said: “I would love to work with Tina again, I miss her on set. I want her back.”

Ryan added: “Jason and Sarah are a great couple and it would be fab if Tina came back into the soap.

“She’s a big name and a great character and Corrie is all about families.”
