Ant and Dec may earn millions of pounds each year, but that doesn’t make them the cleverest boys in the class!

As part of their show, Saturday Night Takeaway, Ant and Dec go head to head in a spelling challenge tonight. The pair have to learn 1000 words and are then tested on some from the list.

Dec struggles with ‘minuscule’, ‘supersede’ and ‘accommodate’ — while Ant found ‘cemetery’, ‘desiccate’ and ‘separate’ hard to master.

They should have stayed at school instead of starring in Byker Grove.
