Sci Fi TV channel will preview a section of the ‘V’ first episode ahead of its US premiere.

This weekend will see a screening, airing ten minutes of the pilot episode at London MCM Expo.

“V is one of the most highly anticipated series of the year – and we can’t think of a better place to showcase it and whet fans’ appetites then at MCM Expo – where we know it’s going to go down an absolute storm,” said Sci Fi’s James Newton.

“Like millions of other people I watched the original V and can’t forget those jaw-dropping moments which managed to chill a generation. Who can forget the rat eating scene or the lizard-tongued baby?

“Audiences will be left equally gripped by this brand new series and anyone seeing our exclusive preview at the convention will be on tenterhooks until the full season launch on Sci Fi next year.”

The screening will take place at 12.15pm on Saturday, October 24 and 1pm on Sunday, October 25 at MCM Expo, which is being held at ExCel.
