Eastenders actor Scott Maslen has admitted that he wants to stay on the BBC soap for as long as possible.

Scott aka Jack Branning hinted that he would be happy to stay on Albert Square, for as long as his storylines stayed good.

Speaking to We Love Telly! magazine, Maslen explained: “I’ve got a good life, got a house, got everything in place, so I’m happy to be there as long as it stays good.”

Scott claims to be nothing like his character though and says he just doesn’t understand why people would cheat on their partners.

“He’s a bit of a louse, actually,” Maslen admitted. “Why do people cheat? I always say: ‘Not even a kiss, not even a dance’. I have a real issue with people being unfaithful.”
