Pop goddess, Shakira has reportedly landed a guest role on Ugly Betty.

EW.com reports that the She Wolf singer will play herself in an upcoming episode of the comedy.

A source said that Shakira “will be shooting her scenes in New York, but they will [appear] in the Bahamas episode—which will most likely air in November.”

In an interview with People, show runner Silvio Horta explained:

“We had a very memorable moment in the third episode where Betty has a makeover that goes wrong and she struts down the street to ‘Hips Don’t Lie,’ ” says Horta. “She’s an enormous Latina icon, as is Betty, and we thought it was a perfect fit.”
