With Sherlock fever spreading from national to global infection, fans will be pleased to know that they are about to be given their own place of worship in the form of a three day convention honouring the show!
For decades cult classic shows have been honoured in this way, with an entire weekend presented to fans for them to swap stories, and memorabilia whilst celebrating their shared love of the show in question – And now Cumberbitches are to be included!
The Sherlock convention, or Sherlocked if you will (pretty sure that should be copyrighted to Irene Adler, but anyway…) is due to take place later this year, run by Massive Events in association with Hartswood Films and Showmasters Ltd.
During the three day event, which could possible see the biggest collection of deer stalker caps EVER, fans will be treated special activities and guest appearances from some of their favourite stars who will be taking part in photo shoots and autograph signings!
So far exact details of just when and where this will take place are yet to be confirmed, as is the list of cast and crew planning to attend, but still it is something to most definitely look forward to!
Sherlock concluded its third series on our BBC screens last month, after a two year wait for it, and fans are still eagerly awaiting news on when the fourth series will be made, and more importantly broadcast.
Since first appearing on our screens back in 2010 Sherlock, and its two main stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman, have found unfathomable fame and success, both here and across the pond.
This high demand was stated as the reason for the lengthy wait for series 3, with series 4 already being excused by it also, so if making a new series is such a complicated process time wise, we aren’t holding out much hope for the main players to have the time to attend the convention – But you never know!
