Benedict Cumberbatch and Olivia Poulet have reportedly split after ending their ten year long relationship.

The Daily Mail reports that the 34 year old actor – best known for his lead role in BBC drama Sherlock – is still on amicable terms with his ex.

“They were together such a long time but it just wasn’t working anymore,” said one insider close to the pair.

Poulet also starred in Sherlock but is probably better known for her part in The Thick Of It. The pair met as students at Manchester University.
