Comic Con is a-coming in just a few short weeks time and bit by bit, all of the shows and panels are beginning to be confirmed.
Earlier this week we brought you the details of the planned Game Of Thrones, True Blood, The Vampire Diaries and Glee panels which will take place in San Diego next month and this afternoon, Showtime have confirmed that they will be bringing “Dexter” to the popular convention once more.
The US TV network have announced which panels they will be hosting and along with our favourite serial killer based drama, the network will also be fronting appearances from the stars of “Homeland” and “Shameless”.
The “Dexter” panel will be staged on day one of Comic-Con, on Thursday, July 12 in Ballroom 20.
The seventh season of the show will launch in September 2012, and the first two minutes of the series premiere will be shown exclusively at the event, before a question and answer session with actors Michael C. Later in the day, Showtime will present a trailer for the second season of Claire Danes fronted drama ‘Homeland’ as well as debuting the first look at the new run of cartoon webisode series – narrated by “Dexter” star Hall – “Early Cuts: All in the Family”.
Two days later the team will stage a panel for “Shameless”, on Saturday, July 14 at Indigo Ballroom. It will be fronted by show stars William H. Macy, Emmy Rossum, Jeremy Allen White, Justin Chatwin and during the session, the team will be taking questions from fans of the show on Twitter.
