Simon Fuller Joins Forces With ITV

American Idol creator, Simon Fuller, has partnered with UK TV channel ITV and will work on six new shows with them this year.
Simon is best known as the man behind the Spice Girls, but he was also the creator of Pop Idol, moved on to American Idol and is also responsible for hit US TV show, So You Think You Can Dance.
Fuller said: “The world’s biggest TV show – American Idol – started life on ITV almost 10 years ago as Pop Idol and I’m delighted to be partnering with ITV again.”
ITV Studios managing director Lee Bartlett, who worked with Fuller on American Idol, before, said he had “total admiration for the way he runs his very successful business”.
Fuller added: “Both Lee and I share an ambition to produce British shows that will appeal to TV audiences around the world.”
