‘Sin City 2: A Dame To Kill For’ to have cameo appearance from Lady Gaga

‘Sin City 2: A Dame To Kill For’ which is due to be released in August of next year (2014) looks set to feature a cameo appearance from music superstar Lady Gaga.

The movie which stars Joseph Gordon-LevittJessica AlbaBruce Willis and Eva Green is the sequel to the 2005 movie ‘Sin City’. Though it’s currently unknown just what of kind of role Lady Gaga will play.

At the San Diego Comic-Con in 2011 Robert Rodriguez who is co-directing the movie with Frank Miller said the script for the then titled ‘Sin City 2’ was nearing completion.

The script for ‘Sin City 2: A Dame To Kill For’ was finalised in August of 2011 and would feature ‘A Dame to Kill For’, ‘Just Another Saturday Night’ and two other original stories that creator of ‘Sin City’ Frank Miller had written.


‘Sin City: A Dame to Kill For‘ was officially announced on April 13th, 2012 but the release date of the movie was pushed back from October 4th, 2013 to August 22nd, 2014 due to delays in filming.

Speaking with Boston radio station Jamn94.5, Joseph Gordon-Levitt discussed Lady Gaga joining the cast of the new film saying how she nailed her role.

“She came in, and I was like, ‘Okay, they’re having a huge popstar do a scene in the movie, I understand’. But then she came in and, like, nailed it.”

“She had her character down, and she was like a total pro, and did a great job. I was really impressed.”

According to IMDB the only thing we know about the story for ‘Sin City 2: A Dame To Kill For’ is that “The town’s most hard boiled citizens cross paths with some of its more reviled inhabitants”

Appearing alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Lady Gaga in ‘Sin City 2: A Dame To Kill For’ (other than those we mentioned above) are Josh Brolin, Mickey Rourke, Rosario Dawson, Jaime King, Dennis Haysbert, Christopher Meloni, Jeremy Piven, Jamie Chung and Ray Liotta.
