Sky One To Air BRITNEY: FOR THE RECORD
Sky1 has announced that it has secured the exclusive UK broadcast rights to screen the Britney Spears special, BRITNEY: FOR THE RECORD. The 90-minute film will air less than 24 hours after the US broadcast.
BRITNEY: FOR THE RECORD will follow one of the world’s most sought after pop stars in her first ever official biographical TV appearance as she records and promotes her latest single Womanizer, and sixth studio album Circus. Granting unprecedented access to Radical Media, Britney Spears shares with both her biggest fans and greatest critics, what has truly been transpiring in her life for the last several years, and a rare glimpse into her hopes and aspirations for the future.
BRITNEY: FOR THE RECORD will capture Britney in the recording studio, at her video shoot, backstage at her triumphant MTV Video Music Awards appearance, as well as back home in Louisiana. The special will include Britney speaking candidly for the first time about the breakdown that saw her in and out of treatment centres for most of 2007. “I’ve been through a lot in the past two or three years, and there’s a lot that people don’t know,” she says. “I’ll sit there and I’ll look back, and I’m like, ‘I’m a smart person, what the hell was I thinking?’”
In an unprecedented three month shoot where no topic was off limits, BRITNEY: FOR THE RECORD hopes to quash the rumours surrounding the singer’s life following months of intense media scrutiny and controversy. Shot by acclaimed filmmaker Phil Griffin, viewers will be taken on a cinematic voyage into the mind, heart and soul of Britney Spears, revealing what it is truly like to walk in the shoes of one of today’s biggest stars. “I wanted to make [it] because I started to feel like I wasn’t being seen in the light that I wanted to be seen in. This is an opportunity to set the record straight and talk about what I’ve been through and where I’m headed”.

Britney is a chunky looking ugly piece of crap. Should have killed herself ages ago. Her voice is croaky, cant sing for shit….her songs are childish and what a 10 year old would listen to.

i love britney always av an always will. i av two children of my own an im only 20, its hard an just think she went through a bad dievore 2. my views are she was perfict until kevin walked in to her life, he has done all this to her and i dont care what anyone says shes fantastic she always av been an always will be. and just you think about what shes been through before you go slaging her off and by the way you should never wish someone gead coz it comes back on you. look at your own life before you go judging other peoples, your just probly jelous.
