Poor old Cilla Black must be feeling past her prime. In the day, her dating show Blind Date was one of TV’s most popular shows but now it seems she can’ even get past her first episode.

Cilla was supposed to be fronting Loveland for Sky One, but the whole series has been cancelled after a test audience hated the first episode.

A source told The Sun: “People just did not like the show in the focus groups. They kept asking why we didn’t just bring back Blind Date.

“Unfortunately, Cilla doesn’t want to do Blind Date anymore so it’s something we couldn’t arrange. We don’t always listen to what focus groups say but on this occasion the evidence was overwhelming that the show was rubbish.”
