Spooks To Air On American Public TV

Spooks is moving to America!
A deal between BBC Worldwide America and U.S. public broadcasters BBC means that the British series will be getting public airing in America, where the show is currently known as MI-5.
The sundication of the show to public (free) channels represents the largest upfront syndication deal to date for BBC Worldwide America, with 26 episodes from the first three seasons available.
“MI-5,” formerly titled “Spooks,” will premiere across the U.S. during January and February in its original, uncut form, though I’m not sure how well it will be received.
It certainly doesn’t have the same level of excitement as shows like 24 and the latest series has lost some of its sparkle in my opinion.
