Star studded cast for Marple’s Nemesis

Agatha Christie fans are in for a treat with a star studded episode of Miss Marple: Nemesis on New Year’s Day, 9pm, on ITV1.
Miss Marple, played by Geraldine McEwan, is faced with her greatest challenge yet when she receives instructions from an old friend – the recently deceased Mr Rafiel – to investigate a ‘possible crime’.
But there’s a catch; she hasn’t been told what the crime is! Instead, she’s booked onto a mystery coach tour to gather clues.
The cast of the feature-length drama includes former Hollyoaks and Casualty actor Will Mellor as an emotionally and physically wounded pilot.
He’s joined by Coronation Street veteran Johnny Briggs, who plays a ‘wide-boy’ character, and legendary actress Anne Reid, who also put in an appearance in the long-running ITV1 soap. She and Amanda Burton play a pair of nuns while Richard E. Grant plays Miss Marple’s nephew.
It should be a good ‘un!
