This month genre fans are in for a treat when Sky One exclusively screens the brand new STARGATE SG-1 spin-off movie. Continuing the thrilling journey of the hugely popular sci-fi show, STARGATE: THE ARK OF TRUTH promises to wrap up the unanswered questions from the climactic series finale, picking up straight after the events of the last ever episode.

Having learnt of the Ori’s plans to launch a devastating assault and rise to power, Daniel Jackson (Michael Shanks) and his team of intrepid travellers are determined to track down an ancient weapon – the Ark of Truth - that could turn the tides of the war in their favour. However, no mission is without an obstacle. The Odyssey crew will have to cross through the Supergate into the enemy’s own territory to get their hands on this all-powerful artefact. With the fate of the Earth hanging tenuously in the balance, will they succeed?

Joining Daniel on his deadliest mission yet are Lt Colonel Cameron Mitchell (Ben Browder), Lt Colonel Samantha Carter (Amanda Tapping), Teal’c (Christopher Judge), Vala Mal Doran (Claudia Black) and Major General Hank Landry (Golden Globe® and three-time Emmy Award® winner Beau Bridges), for what is going to prove to be yet another exciting inclusion to the longest-running American sci-fi series of all time.
