Each episode features a team of home cooks whose delicious dishes always leave their friends begging for more. It’s a real David & Goliath contest – the valiant home cooks have nothing to loose but the professional chefs have their reputations seriously at stake. They just can’t afford to be beaten…

The resident professionals are some of the UK’s most prestigious and celebrated chefs, including Aldo Zilli, Gino D’acampo, John Burton Race, Theo Randall and James Tanner. These chefs are top of their game. They’re set to put their careers on the line as they battle it out against the novices. Plus there’s a twist in store for the experts and it will leave them with a crucial disadvantage.

World renowned food critic Loyd Grossman will blind taste the dishes at the end of the show and decide on the winner. A cash prize is up for grabs for the home cooks each weekday afternoon.
