Stephanie Beacham has hinted that she may be returning to ITV’s Coronation Street.

The former Dynasty actress played thespian Martha, who captured the heart of Ken Barlow. She says that she has been approached by producers about a comeback.

“The producers are interested in bringing Martha back so I may well be returning to the Street,” she told The Press Association.

However she’s not sure that Martha would give cheating Ken another chance.

“Martha was a very strong woman and I personally feel like she had too much dignity to go back to Ken after the way he ended things between them,’”she said.

“She is such a great character to play and I have a lot of respect for her, I think she’s very graceful.”
