True Blood star Stephen Moyer has admitted that filming sex scenes for the hit HBO show, always makes him hungry.

The British actor, best known as Bill Compton, often appears in risqué scenes in the vampire drama and he explained to Hollywood News:

“All I think about is the food after the sex scene has happened, because everybody has to starve.”

“If they put the sex scene after lunch, it’s a f-cking nightmare. I’m not even half joking.”

On Bill’s sexual preferences, Stephen admitted that he doesn’t always understand or condone his behaviour.

“I certainly questioned episode three from Season Three [in which Bill twists Lorena's head all the way around while having sex with her],” he admits. “There’s a very provocative sex scene and a lot of people have questioned whether it’s rape or whether it is consensual or whether it is just very physical sex. Obviously, we’ve all questioned that.”

On acting out love scenes with his now wife Anna Paquin, Moyer added:

“It’s a very odd thing that we do. We know that there are things that are going to happen which are going to be slightly odd or provocative, and we have to deal with them like any other couple would.”
