Stitch Me, Lift Me, Tuck Me on Sky Living tonight features celebs Claire Richards, Andrea McLean & Claire King having cosmetic procedures! (VIDEO)
Cosmetic surgery is of course big business, and celebrities often go under the knife in a bid to cling on to their youth or otherwise improve on what nature gave them…
And tonight on Sky Living at 8pm, we’ll see an assortment of celebrity faces – and bums, and thighs and bellies – featuring on a new series entitled Stitch Me, Lift Me, Tuck Me which looks at the work done by Harley Street Skin clinic owners Dr Aamer Khan and his wife, Lesley Reynolds.
Stars such as recent Celebrity Big Brother housemate Claire Richards, soap stars Stephanie Beacham and Claire King, and TV presenter Andrea McLean will be seen among the celebs attending the clinic for a variety of procedures…
The Mirror reports, “The 10-part series certainly gives a fascinating insight into the nation’s growing obsession with going under the knife and the endless pursuit of physical perfection.”
We’ll see former Emmerdale and Hollyoaks star Claire King undergoing a “suspension facelift” and in a future episode, Loose Women’s Andrea McLean gets treatments for spots on her face that were brought on by shingles.
Of deciding to visit the clinic, Andrea said, “I’d been really run-down and off work with shingles and my skin was terrible. I knew Lesley could help…
“It’s great that these treatments are available now and we don’t have to suffer in silence. So I’ve got no problem with people seeing my spots on screen.”
Meanwhile, Steps star Claire Richards will be seen having Botox jabs in her armpits to stop her sweating.
Of that, Claire said, “Someone told me once that if you had Botox under your arms it just made the sweat come out somewhere else but Dr Khan allayed my fears.
“I have to admit, it really hurt and I was trying not to pull too many faces… what a glamorous life we celebs have.
“But now I’m going to be glowing – not sweating.”
We’ll also see former Corrie star Bev Callard having the “bunny wrinkles” under her eyes erased, and singer Linda Nolan gets the lines in her lips smoothed out.
Former EastEnders star Hannah Waterman, Gillian Taylforth and Sam Womack will all be seen have “facials.”
Other celebs who’ll feature include – as mentioned above – Stephanie Beacham, Patsy Palmer, Patsy Kensit and Tara Palmer-Tomkinson.
We’ll also follow the progress of identical twins Kathryn and Bryony Frost who visit the clinic so often, Dr Khan calls them his “little frosties.”
