From Salford to Mount Sinai Jewish life is centred around family, food and festivals. From Birth to death is marked by rituals and devotion. From one extreme to the other itÕs a community bound together by one faith. This documentary film opens a window into their lives.
The first episode sees Bernette Clarke a modern orthodox mother of three take a trip to Israel to an area so ultra-orthodox that men have to walk on a separate side of the street to women.

Boutique owner Joel Lever throws opens his doors and explains why his shop is the place to be for every Jewish occasion from birth onwards.
