There’s yet another face joining what’s already a jam packed season of Arrow, as it’s been confirmed that Thea Queen is set for a new love interest. Of course, Thea has gone away with her biological father Malcolm, so will her and her new man will meet in Starling? He’s set to be sticking around for a while at least, so what will Malcolm say?

Head inside for all the new info on this mysterious man…

It has been confirmed that Austin Butler has been penned in for a recurring guest star spot on Arrow as a DJ who catches Thea’s eye. The actor, previously of The Carrie Diaries will be making a return to the CW in this new role, expect to see him making his Arrow debut in episode seven of the upcoming season.

So what makes this newbie catch Thea’s eye? Supposedly, he is a talented DJ with the charm to match. Their relationship begins on a professional standing but soon leads to more. It seems that both Thea and Roy will be going down their own individual paths this season – as Thea possibly starts her journey to becoming Speedy and Roy’s transformation into Arsenal. Did we mention how much we love his new outfit already?!

Hopefully, when the pair both find themselves again they will get back together. Their relationship was extremely turbulent in season two, as Roy was under the effects of the Mirakuru and finding out about Oliver’s real identity. Nothing much.

Butler is one of many new Arrow additions this season, as Matt Nable joins as the menacing super villain Ra’s al Ghul while JR Ramirez could become Laurel’s Black Canary trainer. Not to forget, Brandon Routh who will impress our very own Felicity Smoak. Among other brilliant guest stars who we can’t wait to see!
