Alec Baldwin has received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The ’30 Rock’ actor’s tribute was unveiled yesterday (14.02.11) outside Eva Longoria’s restaurant Beso on Hollywood Boulevard – just seven blocks away from his ex-wife Kim Basinger’s star.
The 52-year-old actor is thrilled about the honour and says it is also special for his 15-year-old daughter Ireland, his child with Kim.

Five have axed US comedy 30 Rock due to poor viewing figures.
The show has been a huge hit in The States, where it won 10 Emmy Awards and five Golden Globes but its audience in the UK had dipped to around 100,000.
A spokeswoman for the channel said: “30 Rock just didn’t find a big enough audience in the UK, although it was critically well-received.”
Fans need not worry, as of next month the comedy can be caught on Comedy Central instead.
This is another chance to see 30 Rock – the multi-award winning sitcom following the fortunes of longsuffering comedy writer Liz Lemon (Emmy-winner Tina Fey, the star and writer of ‘Saturday Night Live’ and ‘Mean Girls’).
Liz is living every comedy writer’s dream: she is the head writer on a demanding live TV variety programme in New York City. The show stars one of her closest friends, the sweet, but self-absorbed Jenna Maroney (Jane Krakowski, who starred in ‘Ally McBeal’).
Jennifer Aniston is returning to the big screen in America tonight and we have a fabulous clip of her performance.
Aniston is starring in US comedy ’30 Rock’ and playing a lightly unhinged woman called Claire Harper who is stalking Alec Baldwin’s character, Jack Donaghy.

Former Ally MCBeal star, Jane Krakowski has revealed that her new show 30 Rock is expecting some cool new guest appearances during its new series.
“People are fans now, so they’re asking to be on,” star Jane Krakowski said at a party for Intermix on September 6. “Megan Mullally’s on, Jennifer Aniston’s on, Steve Martin’s coming on.”
Rumours are also circulating that Oprah Winfrey and even some of the the Gossip Girl stars might appear, too. Gossip Girl and 30 Rock both shoot at Silvercup Studios in New York. “I finally got to meet Blake (Serena) and Penn (Dan),” Krakowski said. Does that mean we will see them on 30 Rock this year? “I don’t know if it’s official,” she said. “I just said hello to them over coffee.”
Former Friends star, Jennifer Aniston, has revealed that she had the “time of her life” whilst filming for her guest appearance on US TV show, 30 Rock.
“OK, where do I begin? I just had the time of my life,” she gushed at the premiere of her latest film, Management, in Toronto.
“They were just fantastic, welcoming me in with open arms. They were just so good at what they do. That was awesome. It was really, really fun. That cast is stellar and they’re really, Alec Baldwin, Tina Fey, what a great group of people.”

I was just watching E! News (yes I am that shallow) and I discovered that Jennifer Aniston will not be the only mega star appearing on US TV show, 30 Rock this season. Chat show queen, Oprah Winfrey may also be making an appearance as herself.
ET online has confirmed that Oprah Winfrey is in discussions with Tina Fey and the other producers of “30 Rock” to make a guest appearance as herself on the Emmy Award-winning US comedy.
