The new and revamped 90210 hits the UK this week on E4, and here is a clip from the pilot episode.

The series begins with a feature-length episode. Harry Wilson, the new principal of West Beverly Hills High School, and his wife Debbie, daughter Annie and adopted son Dixon relocate from Kansas to their new Los Angeles neighbourhood.

Channel 4 has beat off much competition and managed to snap up the rights to air the newly revamped Beverly Hills 90210.

Five, ITV2 and Living also took part in the bidding war for the UK rights to the show.

The series will also air on E4 from early 2009, with original stars Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth. Unfortunately for us ladies Luke Perry will not be appearing on this season of the show.

Tori Spelling has reportedly pulled out of the new 90210 TV show, over a pay row.

Tori, who became famous as Donna Martin in 90s TV series Beverly Hills 90210, was said to have signed up for the spin off show. But after hearing that her co stars were being paid more than her, Tori had second thoughts and cancelled her big return.

Eonline.com said Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth – also in the original series – were signed up to earn between $40,000 (£21,000) and $50,000 (£26,000) an episode, while Tori would have earned less than $20,000 (£10,500).
