Former Coronation Street actress, Tina O’Brien, has admitted she is fearful of her character in the hit ITV soap, Sarah Louise Grimshaw, being recast by another actress.
O’Brien, who played the role for 8 years, quit the show back in 2007 to have her daughter, Scarlet, with ex-boyfriend, and current Coronation Street actor, Ryan Thomas, who plays her former on-screen husband, Jason Grimshaw in the soap.

Former Coronation Street actor Adam Rickitt has been knocked down by a hit-and-run driver.
The soao star was wlaking his dog in when the incident occured.
He said in an online video diary: “Got run over by some complete ****. My whole arm has basically got enormous bruising.”

Adam Rickitt, has revealed that he prefers starring in New Zealand soap opera Shortland Street to the UK’s Coronation Street.
Adam played the role of Nick Tilsley and was last seen on the ITV soap in 2004, a few years ago he he headed to New Zealand and was soon offered a role in its most popular soap Shortland Street.
“The then producer had created the role of Kieran Mitchell, which sounded really interesting,” Adam told The Manchester Evening News. “It was like a blank book for me to influence the character.”
Adam is already well known in the country as though Shortland Street is the country’s No 1 soap, Coronation Street is No 2.
