Prince Harry tells Alan Carr “I’m not gay!” after ‘erotic’ dance!

It seems that Prince Harry had to remind Alan Carr’s boyfriend Paul that he’s not gay after Alan gave the Prince an ‘erotic’ dance at a posh London nightclub.

The Sun reports that the Prince was invited to the Arts Club in Mayfair by David Beckham, and when Alan Carr walked in with his boyfriend, Gok Wan and Katherine Jenkins, David invited them to join their party.

However, Alan – who’d apparently had a few – made “a beeline” for Harry and did a dance known as the Dutty Wine (nope, I’ve never heard of it either…) which apparently involved a good deal of bumping and grinding…

Speaking to the Sun, Alan, who of course hosts his own chat show, Chatty Man, said, “I was hammered. My boyfriend Paul said I was doing it proper — hand on the floor and everything.

“Harry said to me, ‘Where are your glasses?’ Paul went, ‘Leave my boyfriend alone’ and Harry went, ‘I’m not gay!’

“What a lovely bloke. That’s what for me being a celebrity should be like… Read more & comment »

US reality TV show wants to turn Alan Carr straight!

Chatty Man host Alan Carr has apparently never been short of offers to appear on reality TV shows…

However, in an interview with Attitude magazine, Alan revealed that the most bizarre invite yet was by producers of a US show who wanted to turn Alan straight!

Apparently, the show’s bosses suggested to Alan – who is of course openly gay – that he should “hook up” with religious groups such as Straight To Jesus, who believe that being homosexual is an illness which can be cured.

Alan told the magazine, “I’ve been asked to go to America and make a programme about those nutters who claim they can turn you straight.

“I’m like, ‘Those people aren’t nice, I’m not encouraging them’.

“And can you imagine if they succeeded? I wouldn’t have an act.”

He went on to say that some of the less mental suggestions have been that he appear on I’m A Celebrity and The FarmRead more & comment »

Comedian and chat show host Alan Carr has revealed that he’s a secret twitcher, but as much as he loves to spot birds, he’s been put off the activity due to his spotting doggers instead!

Speaking to the Daily Star, Alan – who of course hosts Chatty Man on Channel 4 – said, “I really like bird watching. I haven’t done it for ages, but I love it.

“I love the quietness of it. For my 16th birthday I got a pair of binoculars.

“It’s a bit creepy but I loved them.

“The thing is though – all the nature reserves in Northampton, where I’m from, they’re all dogging sites, so I can’t go down there with my binoculars any more.”

However, he’s found a new hobby that doesn’t require accidentally spotting anyone having sex – not usually anyway – and that is watching Come Dine with Me. Read more & comment »

Comedian Alan Carr apparently got so drunk during recent filming for his hit chat show, Chatty Man, that filming had to be suspended.

The Daily Star reports that while Alan was interviewing the band members of Westlife – who have of course recently announced that they’re splitting – he and the band members downed shots of Aftershock one after the other.

The shots – which are 40% proof – caused Alan to begin slurring his words, and he told the audience, “This has gone to sh**.”

However, the studio audience “egged him on” to down more, and he needed little persuasion, eventually declaring that he felt sick after spilling the drink down his jacket… Read more & comment »
