It has been nearly eight years in the making, but Steve Coogan is finally brining the role of Alan Partridge,the most famous man in Norfolk, to the big screen.
A teaser trailer was released last week featuring Partridge mulling over ideas for the film’s name- Personally ‘Chap of Steel’ has more of a ring to it than Alpha Papa. Ideas of Alan relocating to America or a siege at the radio station were supposed plots, but according to Co-creator Armando Iannucci the plot will be set entirely in Norfolk, revolving around Alan coming to terms with changes at his radio station as it is taken over by a giant media corporation.

The much-anticipated Alan Partridge movie is reportedly set to feature a selection of old favourites from the iconic TV show as well as introducing a few new characters who have not yet been seen, the Metro newspaper reports.
Alan Gordon Partridge is a fictional radio and television presenter portrayed, and created by English comedian Steve Coogan originally for the BBC Radio 4 programme On The Hour.

Steve Coogan is to return to our screens as his alter ego Alan partridge after his production company, Baby Cow, signed a deal with Sky Atlantic!
Previously featured in such shows as Knowing Me Knowing You and The Day Today, Alan Partridge will return for two one-hour special.
