Never one for discretion, Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has announced that Charlie Condou is to become a dad for the first time.
The gay actor played Sean Tully’s boyfriend Marcus Dent on the ITV1 soap.
Holden told The Sun: “This is a very modern pregnancy. Charlie has a partner, but he’s becoming a dad with a female friend.”

Amanda Holden is reportedly being groomed as the “next Cilla Black” for American TV.
Amanda has made a bit of a splash in the US recently and The Daily Mail has reported that she has been offered a TV show very like ‘Surprise Surprise.’
“Amanda would be like a new Cilla Black. One reason she was great on Britain’s Got Talent was that she gets really emotionally involved with the acts,” said a production source.

Amanda Holden has admitted that she is still keen to land a role on ITV soap Coronation Street.
Back in April Holden first expressed an interest in the show saying: “I’d love to go into it as some kind of snooty southern bitch. Maybe go and buy The Kabin from under Rita’s nose and turn it into a beauty salon or something horrendous that they hate, so they oust me and I go back to London.”

Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has admitted that whilst she couldn’t be tempted to return to Eastenders she would love a guest appearance in Coronation Street.
“I have to say I find EastEnders brilliant at the moment, but I wouldn’t go into it at the moment, no,” the Britain’s Got Talent judge said.
“What I’d like to do is go into Coronation Street. I love Corrie, and that’s kind of more iconic. I’d go into that for a bit.”

BBC bosses will air Amanda Holden’s new drama six months early after being impressed with the first few episodes of the show.
The sitcom, which stars Holden as ring mistress in a failing circus, starts on BBC1 later this month. However according to The Sun filming just wrapped ten days ago.
Amanda said: “They’re racing to get it finished so it can air in the next two weeks. It’s very exciting.”

Britian’s Got Talent judge, Amanda Holden, has been awarded her own Saturday night TV show by ITV1.
Amanda will host The Wish List for the channel and will make dreams come true for surprised members of the public.
An insider told The Sun: “Think Jim’ll Fix It meets Surprise Surprise. Each week Amanda will give people the chance to live out their dreams on TV.
“If you’ve ever wanted to sing with Take That or do a base jump into the Grand Canyon, she could make it happen. With the credit crunch tightening its grip people are in need of some feelgood TV. This will be just the tonic. Read more & comment »

Britian’s Got Talent judge, Amanda Holden has revealed that the reason she left ITV drama, Wild At Heart, is because she thought the travel and prolonged trips from home were unfair on her two year old daughter.
Amanda told The News Of The World:
“It’s just got too much. I can’t have my daughter running around in elephant s*** any more,” Amanda told the News of the World. “Lexi’s two and hasn’t spent a summer in England yet. I can’t take her away from my family any more.
“It’s not fair, especially on my mum, to be out of the country for six months again. Wild At Heart was a huge experience and I don’t regret it for a minute, but I have to call it a day.” Read more & comment »
