Mrs Biggs star, Sheridan Smith, has gone public with her new boyfriend, Reg Traviss, for the first time.

Sheridan, who famously dated her Gavin and Stacey on-screen brother, James Corden, began seeing Reg, who famously dated tragic Amy Winehouse before and up until her death, for a short time, but a string of photos of them together suggest that they are now officially an item, despite Reg awaiting trial for rape!

In an exclusive interview with the Daily Mirror, former EastEnders star Barbara Windsor has revealed why she left the BBC1 soap, and she’s spoken publicly about her friendship with tragic singer Amy Winehouse for the first time.
Of her somewhat unlikely relationship with Amy – given the age difference between them – Barbara explained, “I kept our friendship private even though she was often in the news.
“We kept it a secret. We always said our friendship would be very private because we knew what it would be like…‘Friends with Barbara Windsor, what’s that all about?’”
75 year old Barbara then revealed that she first got to know Amy because her husband – Barbara’s – Scott knew the Winehouse family.

The Brit Awards is always a joyous occasion but tonight, there were a few sad moments during the ceremony.
Just after opening the show, James Corden took a few minutes to pay tribute to legendary singer Whitney Houston, who passed away just over a week ago and was buried at the weekend.
They displayed a montage of pictures of the star on a large screen, while playing her hit song ‘The Greatest Love Of All.’

Now the dust has settled and we can look, it seems like the Grammys were a little bit shambolic last night.
The calibre of performers (except for Bruce Springsteen, Jennifer Hudson, Paul McCartney the Beach Boys, Glen Campbell and Bruno Mars) seemed particularly low and there seemed to be a feeling that some of the best performers had been honoured BEFORE the show started.
Much missed Amy Winehouse had received her posthumous award during the pre-Grammy telecast. Most of her fans were not aware of this, so when they tuned in to the actual show on TV they were amazed to see the singer not honoured and only mentioned briefly in the yearly “in memoriam” segment.

Comedian Frank Skinner has stated that he believes it’s unfair to blame Amy Winehouse’s friends for her “descent” into a drug habit.
What’s On TV quotes Frank – who is himself a reformed drinker – as saying, “I wasn’t one of the people saying, ‘Where were Amy Winehouse’s friends?’ because I know from my own drinking years that nobody can be told they need to quit.
“Unless she woke up and thought she’d had enough, it was never going to happen.”
Frank, who’s publishing a collection of his Times newspaper columns in a book entitled, Dispatches From The Sofa: The Collected Wisdom Of Frank Skinner, added that he thought Amy might have survived the hard-partying lifestyle like some others in the music industry have. Read more & comment »

It has only been a matter of weeks since the sudden and untimely death of iconic Amy Winehouse, and yet the hunt is already on to find a suitable actress to portray her in a film about her life.
TV producers have apparently been in touch with the singer’s family to seek consent to make a biopic feature based on Amy’s tumultuous life story.
Amy was always very big news, but never more so since she was discovered dead in her Camden flat last month, and while people are still grieving for her tragic loss, the realism is that her story is huge and can create a lot of interest and revenue.

The nation has still yet to come to terms with the untimely death of the greatly talented but troubled Amy Winehouse, but someone close to the singer has seen her death as an opportunity for themselves.
Unreleased tracks, lyric books and letters have reportedly all ‘gone missing’ from the singers Cambden home since Winehouse’s death on July 23rd.
Suspects are confined to only 20 people who have had access to the North London flat, comprising of friends, family, security and police.

With the tragic, untimely death of truly iconic, not to mention truly talented, Amy Winehouse, all talk of her life have been mainly focussed on her ex husband, Blake Fielder-Civil but it seems that Amy had forgotten him completely and had made plans for the rest of her life with Reg Travis.
The pair, who had been dating for two years had reportedly shared a heart to heart merely weeks before the singers death, on July 22, during which Traviss produced a diamond ring and proposed to the Back to Black singer.

Mitch Winehouse yesterday stunned fans who’d gathered outside his daughter Amy’s Camden home, by handing out some of her personal possessions.
The Daily Star reports that Mitch gave away clothes and bouquets of flowers, saying, “Thanks for your support.”

Before her death last weekend, singer songwriter Amy Winehouse had penned at least three new songs that she hoped would be used in the next Bond film.
A friend of Amy’s told the Daily Star, “What a way to remember Amy. We want her to be known for her talent and not her addiction.
“To have one of her songs used in the next film would be the perfect memorial to her.”
The paper adds that Amy had recorded a song entitled, Mission Of Solace, in 2008 with her music producer friend Mark Ronson.
The pair had hoped it would become the title track for Daniel Craig’s 007 film, A Quantum Of Solace, however, plans to use the track were ditched because of Amy’s “drug-fuelled binges.” Read more & comment »

Insiders have claimed that Amy Winehouse’s untimely death may have been brought about, because she suddenly stopped drinking.
Coroners have not yet confirmed the official cause of death of the ‘Rehab’ hitmaker, however, some medical sources have speculated that if she had tried to stop boozing after many years of sustained alcohol abuse, she may have went into shock or a seizure, which could have led to her tragic passing.
A source said: “Abstinence gave her body such a fright they thought it was eventually the cause of her death.”

Lady Gaga has claimed that Amy Winehouse’s death should teach the world a lesson about how they treat their stars.
The ‘Edge of Glory’ hitmaker was addressing the tragic passing of Winehouse, who was cremated yesterday after being found dead in her North London home on Saturday afternoon.

Mitch Winehouse made a moving speech at his daughter’s funeral this afternoon.
The former London cab driver paid tribute to his eldest daughter Amy Winehouse, who was found dead in her Camden home on Saturday and claimed that the singer has been much ‘happier’ in the months before her death, than she had been for many years previously.
Mitch claimed that Amy was working hard on resolving her addiction problems and was trying to curb her drug use, with constant help from her family members and on/off boyfriend Reg Traviss.
