Ant and Dec have reportedly been banned from appearing on BBC’s Friday Night With Jonathan Ross.

The Sun has reported that the ban is part of a tit for tat row between ITV and BBC, after the Beeb banned Barbara Windsor from taking part in ‘Piers Morgan’s Life Stories.’

TV duo, Ant & Dec are taking part in a new musical challenge in aid of charity.

The pair and their Takeaway Teams will perform a track each on their Saturday night entertainment TV show and then release the songs for download.

Fans can download either song for 79p and for every track downloaded, 44p will go to ChildLine, Teenage Cancer Trust and Help The Aged, The Sun reports.

We actually missed this show on Saturday night but we have had loads and loads of emails from people who saw Miley Cyrus fluff her lines on Saturday night’s Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.

If you watch the video above you will see as she is about to hit the second chorus, Miley completely forgets the words to her song and turns her back on the audience until she gains composure.

Ant and Dec have come under fire whilst they visited Afghanistan to present a bravery award.

The presenters about to board their plane at Kandahar airport when the Taliban opened fire on the terminal.

Ant told ITN: “It was pretty hairy, not something I’d like to experience again. All the guys around us were pulling on body armour. We couldn’t believe how close we were to being hit. It shows what our troops go through every day.”

TV duo, Ant & Dec are reported to be “appalled” by yesterdays revelation that they were wrongly given a British Comedy Award at the 2005 ceremony.

The peoples choice award should have gone to Catherine Tate, but was instead given to the boys after Robbie Williams said he would only present the award if Ant & Dec won.

‘They are so upset and completely appalled. They have been lucky to win many awards and would never want to win an award in this way,’ said a spokesman for the pair. Read more & comment »

TV presenting duo Ant & Dec have signed a book deal worth £2.8 million with Penguin books. The pair are set to release their first autobiography in time for Christmas 2009.

“We’ve considered working on a book for quite a while,” Ant told the Sunday Mirror. “But next year we will have been working together for 21 years, so we feel the time is right.”

Dec added: “We’re really looking forward to reminiscing about our past and moments from behind the scenes, however embarrassing they may be.” Read more & comment »

We’ve lost Cat Deeley and Simon Cowell, and now it seems that Ant and Dec will be the next TV personalities to skip across the Atlantic and pursue the American Dream.

The Geordie pair recorded a quiz show for US TV network ABC last year, but it was feared that it would be dropped if the Americans couldn’t understand the pairs accents.
