Sky1 has secured the exclusive linear TV rights in the UK to CAPRICA, the much-anticipated prequel to Battlestar Galactica, from NBC Universal International Television Distribution, it was announced today.

As Sky1’s Peabody and Emmy-winning original series BATTLESTAR GALACTICA heads into its fourth and final season, CAPRICA – a two hour prequel from executive producers Ronald D. Moore and David Eick – will expand on the Galactica world and get deeper into the origins of the story whilst promising to deliver more of the passion, intrigue, political backbiting, family conflict and hardcore action that fans have come to love.
