Girl next door Lacey Turner proved she could be as seductive as the rest when her EastEnders character, Stacey Slater, embarked on a steamy affair with her husband’s dad, but now she is out to make her new role even raunchier, as she plays a lesbian in the new drama, Switch!

Turner, who left EastEnders back in 2010, after a pact with her on-screen husband, Charlie Clements – who played Bradley Branning, meant they would both leave when either one of them wanted to quit. Since then she has appeared in an advertising campaign for Royal Mail, as well as starring in supernatural dramas such as Being Human and Bedlam.

Lacey Turner, who of course shot to fame in her EastEnders role as Stacey Slater, has revealed that she believes she’s had messages from beyond the grave from her grandmother.
In an interview with the Radio Times about her current role in Sky paranormal drama Bedlam, and about her forthcoming new drama Switch, which is about modern-day witches living in London, Lacey explained, “I was four when [my Nan] died and her name was Amelia, which is my middle name…
“But we called her Nanny Leo because her dog was called Leo.
“I’ve been to see mediums and they’ve said, ‘Your Nan’s here’ and sometimes I do think that I’ve been with her.”

Former EastEnders star Lacey Turner – who of course played the role of Stacey Slater in the BBC1 soap – has revealed that not only does she find filming scenes for Sky drama Bedlam “scary”, but she has a list of things she fears that’s as long as her arm!
One of her biggest terrors is apparently dogs, and she’s “petrified” of her friend’s tiny Yorkshire terrier.
Speaking to TV Biz, Lacey said, “I’m petrified of everything. I’m scared of my own shadow.
“Honestly, I’m the biggest weed you’ll ever meet. The thing I’m most scared of is my best friend’s dog. I love dogs but my friend has this Yorkshire terrier.
“I walked in the house once, not expecting this dog to be there, and it barked and I jumped out of my skin.

Former EastEnders star Lacey Turner has revealed that she left the hit BBC1 soap because she was “curious” to see what other projects she could work on if she wasn’t committed to the London based drama.
Speaking to the PA, Lacey – who landed a total of 33 awards for her portrayal of Stacey Slater in EastEnders – said, “It was a hard decision because I loved playing Stacey and I loved my time there…
“But it just got to a point where I’d been there for seven years and I was curious [about what else was out there] – and once I’m curious, I’m gone.”

Fans of EastEnders will of course recall actress Lacey Turner in her role as Stacey Slater, who was feisty, fearless and uncompromisingly brave as she dealt with one trauma after another in her young life…
However, since leaving the show, Lacey has gone on to star in hit paranormal drama Bedlam – the second series of which begins on Sky Living on Wednesday 6 June at 10:00pm – and the experience of playing paramedic Ellie, who, as the phrase goes, sees dead people, left her terrified when she returned home after filming.
The Daily Star reports that Lacey said, “I’m scared of everything, even my own shadow. I’m the biggest weed you’ll ever meet.

Sky Living has commissioned a second series of Bedlam and it has been revealed today that former Eastenders actress Lacey Turner will take on a major role.
The first series aired in February 2011 and is Sky Living’s most successful commissioned series to date. The new series promises to be even darker and scarier than before. Returning with sharp scripts, dramatic special effects and compelling storylines, Bedlam will boast an all new line up.

Former EastEnders star Lacey Turner is to return to our screens playing the role of a paramedic who sees ghosts.
She’s to star in Sky Living drama, Bedlam, as Ellie, alongside Jack Roth, who’s the son of actor Tim Roth.
The main focus of the show is a block of flats that used to be a mental asylum, and of course, the new series is the show’s second year.
The first series saw Will Young in the lead role, but at the end of the first run, he and several other cast members were caught in a huge explosion.
The Sun states, “The original cast won’t be back — although Will and the others could have cameos in the new run as bosses tie up loose ends”

The first episode of Bedlam kicks off with a scream, as Kate’s cousin Jed makes his way to Bedlam Heights.
Along a country road, he hitchhikes; the driver makes awkward small talk, until Jed confronts him with the uncomfortable truth. The driver is dead – the ghost of a man killed in a car crash. Angry, the ghost attacks Jed, turning round to face him with blackened out eyes. Jed fights him off, and forces him to disappear.
A mysterious text message pops up on Jed’s phone- SAVE KATE.

Tonight saw the first episode of the new drama on Sky Living HD, Bedlam. Staring Pop Idol winner Will Young, this is Living’s first UK original drama series, and has been eagerly anticipated.
Young plays Ryan, a character desperate to find out why his brother died, who is living in a loft apartment in a luxury block, built on the grounds of the famous bedlam asylum, with flat mates Kate (Charlotte Salt) and Molly(Ashely Madekwe).

Will Young has claimed that he wasn’t scared when filming his supernatural TV series ‘Bedlam,’ because he lives with a ghost.
The Pop Idol star plays IT expert Ryan McAllister in the Sky Living drama – which is about a haunted apartment block that used to be a lunatic asylum – and revealed that he currently shares a house with the ghost of an elderly lady.
He said: “She’s the most wonderfully benign old lady I’ve never seen but whose presence I often sense. I’m in the process of selling the cottage, though not because it’s haunted. I’m hoping the old lady comes with me when I go!”

Will Young has landed his first major TV role, in Living’s new original drama ‘Bedlam.’
The Pop Idol winner previously starred in the 2005 BBC film Mrs. Henderson Presents and guest starred in an episode of Skins in 2010. But his lead role in spooky Bedlam will be much more significant. Young will play Ryan, a man who moves into a ghost infested flat in an old Victorian mental hospital.
