Fans of EastEnders will know that Carol Jackson (Lindsey Coulson) was left devastated when the love of her life – and her daughter Bianca’s father – David Wicks drove away from the Square alone last year, after he was supposed to take Carol with him so they could start a new life together…
However, Carol’s feelings were once again stirred up when, after her brother Derek died, she was given a letter from David – that he had in his possessions – which was addressed to Carol.

Next week, Bianca Butcher (Patsy Palmer) is still struggling to come to terms with the fact that Liam’s left the Square, however, her mate Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) suggests that to keep her mind off it, she should work on her selling skills…
And Bianca does just that, however, in the episode that airs on Tuesday, April 30, Bianca and Kat are annoyed when market boss Mr Lister (Nick Wilton) has a go at them for the mess that’s all around their stall.
However, when he then makes cutting remarks about Bianca’s parenting skills, Kat and B come up with a plan to teach him a lesson. Since then, Carol had a brief flirtation with Masood (Nitin Ganatra) but that also crashed and burned. However, there’s a new love interest in Carol’s life in the form of probation officer Steve, who she of course met when he visited the house while assigned to Bianca’s case.

In the episode of EastEnders that airs on April 1, Liam Butcher (James Ford) is still in hospital recovering from being stabbed, and his frantic mum Bianca (Patsy Palmer) is juggling visits to him, working on the stall and taking care of her other kids…
However, there’s good news when DS Bain arrives at the hospital to tell Liam and Bianca that gang members Chris and Kane – among others – have been arrested in connection with the stabbing.

In next week’s episodes of EastEnders, struggling single mum Bianca Butcher (Patsy Palmer) has to take extreme measures to keep her wayward teenage son Liam (James Ford) away from the gang he’s involved in, and she enlists the help of Ray Dixon (Chucky Venn) to do so.

As fans of EastEnders may know, the show’s bosses have been highlighting the issue of youth gangs as part of not only the soap’s main storylines, but also for a special edition of the show for Comic Relief…

It’s been revealed today that EastEnders bosses had to cancel an outdoor shoot this week after a knife wielding gang of thugs forced their way on-set and threatened to stab the show’s stars and production crew.
The Mirror reports that Patsy Palmer, who plays Bianca Butcher, and 16-year-old James Ford – who plays her on-screen son Liam – were filming scenes in a park when the youths were heard yelling, “We’ll cut you.”
The paper adds, “The teenagers, some in hoodies and one with his face partly covered, hurled snowballs at onlookers before turning on the crew of the BBC1 soap.”
Security staff were hastily rushed to the scene in Graham Park in Colindale, north London to protect the BBC staff from the seven-strong gang who allegedly also threw fireworks. Read more & comment »

Fans of EastEnders star Patsy Palmer – who of course plays harassed single mum Bianca Butcher – will know that she’s only recently returned to the show after taking a break in order to spend more time with her family…
However, it seems that Patsy may be regretting making a comeback given that she’s told Closer magazine that being a working mum “scrambles my brain!”
