Rowan Atkinson and the cast of legendary comedy series Blackadder are back for a one-off documentary special this Christmas on BBC One.

Blackadder Rides Again will feature the iconic cast in a documentary to mark 25 years since the original BBC transmission of the much-loved sitcom, first broadcast in 1983.

Blackadder Rides Again will include the first ever in-depth interview with Edmund Blackadder himself, Rowan Atkinson, about his personal experience of being involved in the sitcom and its phenomenal success.

Rowan Atkinson has turned down the chance to participate in a new TV show which would reunite him with all his former Blackadder co-stars.

The show is being made by UKTV and will be titled: Blackadder Exclusive: The Whole Rotten Saga and Blackadder’s Most Cunning Moments.

The show’s writers Ben Elton and Richard Curtis have agreed to take part, as have actors Tony Robinson, Stephen Fry, Hugh Laurie and Miranda Richardson. Read more & comment »
