Bones, Sky1’s darkly amusing hit crime drama starring David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel welcomes back fan favourite Stephen Fry in his guest role of Dr. Gordan Wyatt on Thursday 19th November at 9pm in “The Dwarf in the Dirt”. And it’s a real sister act this Christmas as Zooey Deschanel joins her sister Emily on-screen for the very first time, on Thursday 17th December at 9pm in “The Goop on the Girl”.
Production on Bones has been halted because of swine flu, Hart Hanson, announced via Twitter.
“First time in Bones history we are shut down from production,” Hanson tweeted. “Damn swine flu! That’s gonna cut into Christmas hiatus.”
David Boreanaz has flu like symptoms, although it’s unclear if he actually has fully blown swine flu.

Created by Hart Hanson and inspired by real-life forensic anthropologist and best-selling novelist Kathy Reichs, BONES follows forensic anthropologist Dr Temperance Brennan (Deschanel) and FBI Agent Seeley Booth’s (Boreanaz) work at the Jeffersonian institute solving crimes when the bodies are so badly decomposed, burned or destroyed that only the victim’s bones can provide clues to their fate.
Fox are due to release their fall schedule later today however reports suggest that Bones fans have a reason to be very happy.
The US TV network is thought to have placed an order for two more seasons of the David Boreanaz show after fierce negotiations with 20th Century Fox over its licence fee.
Fans of Terminator The Sarah Connor Chronicles have reason to be disappointed as all hope is lost and the show has been officially cancelled due to falling ratings.
It seems likely at this point that the network’s Fall schedule will include “Bones”, “House M.D.”, “24“, “Dollhouse“, “Lie to Me“, “Fringe“, “‘Til Death”, “American Idol“, “The Simpsons”, “Kitchen Nightmares” and “American Dad”.
Meanwhile, joining “Terminator” under the bed are “Sit Down, Shut Up”, “Prison Break” and “King of the Hill”.
US TV network Fox has confirmed that Motley Crue will guest star on season finale of Bones, performing “Dr. Feelgood.”
The episode airs on May 14th in America. Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) show up at a popular nightclub when a corpse is found. Coincidentally The Crue just happen to be playing there and also guesting in the episode are Ryan O’Neal (Brennan’s dad, Max) and Brendan Fehr (Booth’s brother, Jared).
Sky1’s sexy, sassy and intelligent crime drama Bones, starring David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel, has been a perennial favourite with critics and audiences alike. Brennan and Booth go undercover at a travelling circus as a knives-of-death act to investigate the murder of conjoined twins who worked as jugglers. The other performers refuse to open up to the detectives, forcing Brennan to take to the high wire to discover what really happened.

Tonight, the Jeffersonian detectives seek the help of institutionalised Zack Addy when the body of 25 year old author Jared Addison is discovered. Brennan and Booth hope the former anthropologist can help locate the victim’s missing head and solve their latest grisly murder case. Perhaps it fell off as the guy laughed at the sometimes pretty shockingly bad acting in Bones.

Bones returns to Sky One later this month for series four and I have came across a great clip from the opening episode.
Bones launches with Booth and Brennan driving about London in a little red mini. Of course Booth can’t work out the whole wrong side of the road thing ands up screaming about how much he hates London!!!
Insiders from the set of hit US drama, Bones, have revealed that they are shutting up shop and halting all filming after the twelfth episode of the new series due to the current writers strike.
The source did say to look for an “unexpected” ending…..oohhhh, sounds interesting….
