Former Coronation Street star, Bradley Walsh, is set to make the pond leap across to the US of A after broadcasting giants, Fox, have ordered a pilot of his hit ITV1 quiz show, The Chase.
The pilot will be shot in the UK studios, with the network flying contestants over from the US to take part.

As fans of Coronation Street will know, when Michelle Collins joined the cast as Stella Price, there was a bit of a hoohar about her Manchester accent, given that we’d formerly known Michelle as EastEnders’ Cindy Beale…
In fact, the issue of her accent at one point looked set to unseat Phil Collinson as the show’s executive producer, but as he predicted at the time, viewers eventually got used to Michelle’s accent.
However, former Corrie star Bradley Walsh – who played the role of Danny Baldwin – reignited the flames of the row at the British Soap Awards when he suggested there should be an award for accents in soap.

Odd One In, The hit ITV1 family guessing game, returns for a second series on Saturday nights. Hosted by Bradley Walsh, the show sees two celebrity teams trying to spot the person with the unique skill, secret or story in a series of outlandish line-ups. This week, home team Jason Manford and Peter Andre take on an away team made up of comedians Jenny Eclair and Jack Whitehall.
Tonight the teams have to try and spot who is really Welsh, who actually injured themselves while doing something with a sausage, who’s the real Karate champion, who has a famous voice, and who won a TV talent contest in Spain.

Comedian and actor, Bradley Walsh, reckons that when he turned 50 last month, it was “just another day in the office”.
He added that at 50, he doesn’t feel “any different” to how he felt at 18.
Speaking to the PA, he said, “I just turned 50 that was it, it was just another day, another day at the office. That was it.
“I don’t feel any different to how I did when I was 18.”
Bradley spent his birthday playing in a charity football match for Soccer Aid alongside pals Dominic Cooper, Damian Lewis and Robbie Williams. Read more & comment »

Spin Star brings the thrills, unpredictability and big money gamble of the casino into a game show studio. Dominating the stage is the Moneyspinner; an enormous Las Vegas-style, five-reel slot machine.
On the reels of the Moneyspinner are cash, questions and the names of the five contestants who will be answering those questions. Correct answers could build up a prize pot worth hundreds of thousands.
But none of these five people will be winning a single penny on the show.
