Corrie star Michelle Keegan says she would do a Playboy shoot, “if it was tasteful”

Michelle Keegan, who of course plays the role of Tina McIntyre in Corrie, has revealed that she would consider going topless for a Playboy photo shoot, but only if it was “tasteful.”

She also revealed in an interview with the Sun’s TV Biz, that she doesn’t understand why she’s won the Britain’s Sexiest Female Soap Star award three years on the run, as she reckons she’s a bit of a “tomboy.”

Of that, she said, “It’s so flattering but I’m the least sexy person. When I first won it my friends were all laughing…

“Even I was like, ‘Why have I won this?’”

Michelle added, “I wouldn’t say no to something like Playboy if it’s tastefully done.

“But I will never get my boobs out, unless it was for a professional acting job.

“They’re my boobs. I don’t want the world to see them. I see them as my private bits and I don’t want the whole world judging them.

“But I’d love to do a period drama one day. I’ve seen nudity in a period drama and thought it looked tasteful… Read more & comment »

Spoiler Alert! Who Won What at the British Soap Awards

The British Soap Awards logo

The BSA took place this Saturday and we have news about who won what in the soaps that we cover here on Primetime, but as coverage of the show isn’t actually being aired until Wednesday, if you don’t want to know who got what award, don’t read on after the ‘Read more and comment’ link…

And it turned out that Phil Schofield hosted she show alone after Fern Britton pulled out citing a “family commitment” as the reason, but as she announced this just two days after her resignation from This Morning was publicised, it added fuel to the fire that there’s a rift between the pair, even though they’ve both denied it repeatedly.

However, on the 27th March, The Sun ran an article regarding Fern dropping both This Morning and the BSA… here’s part of their article.

“Fern is thought to have been on about £20,000 for hosting the show — with Phillip, 46, on TWICE as much.

Insiders said ‘no one was surprised’ at her pull-out.

One said: ‘Would you want to stand next to someone when they’re getting paid twice as much?’

But Fern insisted she had made the decision because of a prior family engagement.”

So, with the thick plottening on that one, the awards went ahead anyway, and here’s who won what from the soaps… remember, don’t read on if you don’t want to know! Read more & comment »
