Tonight sees the start of a new BBC2 thriller, The Fall, and Unreality TV were lucky enough to catch up with one of its stars, Bronagh Waugh, to find out what we have in store for us!

Best known for playing feisty Cheryl Brady in the hit Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks, Bronagh is joined by three former Hollyoaks co-stars Emmett J Scanlan, Gerard McCarthy and Karen Hassan for this new series, in which she plays the wife of Belfast’s first serial killer.

It came as no surprise that Hollyoaks superstar, Emmett J. Scanlan, had been nominated in the Serial Drama Performance category at this year’s National Television Awards.

But what was surprising, and devastating to many, was the news that Emmett had decided to leave Hollyoaks for pastures new, leaving Brendan Brady behind.
