What do you enjoy the most about your work on Brothers & Sisters?
The successful career of Calista Flockhart has seen the accomplished actress appear in a string of hit movies and Broadway plays. However, it was her small screen portrayal of the neurotic lawyer Ally McBeal that skyrocketed Flockhart to the big time.
The recently-engaged fiancée of Hollywood actor Harrison Ford successfully returned to television in 2006 when she signed on to appear as Kitty Walker in the award-winning drama Brothers & Sisters. Here, the fan favorite gives us an insight into her work on the popular show…
How does your experience on Brothers & Sisters compare with your time on Ally McBeal?
Former Dancing With The Stars contestant Giles Marini has admitted that his storyline on Brothers & Sisters could run on.
Giles joined the cast as Luc Laurent in May. He has an affair with Sarah Walker (Rachel Griffiths), and admitted that the relationship may be “more than a fling”.
He told TV Guide: “He’s different than her past [significant others]. It’s a beautiful relationship between them. Going into the filming of the fifth episode, there was a lot of talk of me coming back, so you may not see the last of Luc.

Rob Lowe has admitted that while he has taken up the dangerous sport of heliiskiing, he won’ let his teenage sons accompany him.
Rob, who is father to 16-year-old Matthew and 13 year old John, told Ellen DeGeneres: “It’s doing something very dangerous. I have not taken the kids. They want to go. That’s a little bit of a discussion at home. My wife is like, ‘Are you crazy?’ I think we’re going to have to wait until they are at least old enough to shovel me out.”
Brothers and Sisters kicks off in America this month and sources confirm that the new season will contain a storyline revolving around gay adoption.
Kevin Walker (Matthew Rhys) and Scotty Wandell (Luke Macfarlane), are seen considering adoption, probably after Kevin discovered his paternal side with his brother’s daughter Elizabeth, who is actually his biological daughter.
“We really are exploring Kevin and Scotty in the beginning of this season,” producer Monica Owusu-Breen told AfterElton.com.

There has been a serious case of chinese whispers recently where US drama Brothers and Sisters is concerned, not helped by yesterday’s ‘revelations’ on E!.
E! reports suggested that love rat Balthazar Getty was being forced off the show before the end of the third series as cast and crew grew fed up with his unprofessional behaviour behind the scenes of the show.
However, the LA Times claims that this is only a half story and whilst Gett’s character Tommy Walker will be leaving the series early, he will return for the fourth series after a period of soul searching brings him back from rock bottom.
E! Online are reporting that actor Jason Ritter may be joining the cast of the fabulous Brothers and Sisters.
The word is that show sources have confirmed that Ritter was in for a casting meeting with the ABC bosses this week and it’s likely he’ll be considered for the role of Ryan Walker.

I don’t know why anyone would be shocked by this story, but Brothers and Sisters star Luke MacFarlane has outed himself in a Canadian newspaper.
Luke plays the very camp Scotty on the US drama and to be honest I had always assumed he was gay in real life also.

I have to admit to being a bit of a Brothers ans Sisters addict. I haven’t missed one episode yet, and last week I very stupidly watched this weeks episode on E4.
It was a great installment, and without giving too much away, when all the couples arrive at the familys ranch, all obviously hoping for a bit of hanky panky, only to find their mother and all their siblings have had the same idea……priceless!
Here is a bit of a taster of what’s in store tonight……ENJOY! I will have to try and stop myself from turning over to E4 at 11pm and ruining next weeks viewing!
