There are two pieces of news making Emmerdale headlines today, the first being that tonight – in a double bill of the show, airing at 7pm and 8pm – we’re finally going to get to find out who attacked Cain Dingle.
The second snippet of news is that as of next week, when Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb) and Andy Sugden (Kelvin Fletcher) meet in secret at a hotel and sleep together, trying to conceive a ‘saviour sibling’ for their daughter Sarah, Andy’s feelings for Debbie resurface.
More on that in a moment, but first, as mentioned above, in tonight’s episodes, Cain – who’s played by Jeff Hordley – finally confesses the truth about who attacked him… Read more & comment »

As fans of Emmerdale will probably know, the identity of the attacker who left Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) for dead is to be revealed in the episode that airs on Thursday, January 5th.
And as we reported a while ago, it’s going to be a shock when you find out who it really was!
However, in the run up to the big reveal, the Dingle family are to be torn apart by in-fighting, and Aaron (Danny Miller) is finding it especially hard to contain his anger over who attacked his uncle Cain.
And his mum Chas (Lucy Pargeter) is also set to fly into an uncontrollable rage when, in tonight’s episodes, she finds out that Charity (Emma Atkins) saw Cain lying unconscious by the side of the road after the attack, and that she did nothing to help him… Read more & comment »

Jeff Hordley, who of course plays bad lad Cain Dingle in Emmerdale, has revealed that he can’t understand how he’s achieved sex symbol status for playing the villainous mechanic.
And of course, it’s not only viewers who are attracted to Cain – he’s had more than his fair share of the show’s characters throwing themselves at him too…
However, it could be Cain’s womanizing that’s landed him in intensive care, since both Jai Sharma and John Barton are high on the list of suspects for the Judgement Day attack, given that Cain has bedded their partners, Charity Tate and Moira Barton.
But of his sex symbol status, Jeff told the PA, “It has most definitely shocked me… Read more & comment »

As fans of Emmerdale will know, Cain Dingle, who is of course played by Jeff Hordley, is about to be beaten in a frenzied and vicious attack that will leave him fighting for his life…
However, while speaking to TV Choice magazine, Jeff reckons that there will be no sympathy from viewers for Cain, given all the trouble he’s caused in the village.
And high on the long list of possible suspects for the attack is John Barton, who’s played by James Thornton. He’s now especially likely to be the one behind the beating, given that James has announced he’s leaving the show early next year.
So maybe farmer John’s off to prison for a goodly long while! Read more & comment »

The gorgeous Jeff Hordley – who of course plays baddest of bad lads Cain Dingle in Emmerdale – has been telling TV Choice magazine that right before Cain’s viciously beaten by his ‘Judgement Day’ attacker, he’d upset Edna Birch…
Now, how awesome would it be if it was Edna – who’s played by Shirley Stelfox – who batters Cain and leaves him for dead?
Highly unlikely you say?
Well, when EastEnders did their Who’s the Daddy? over Heather Trott’s (Cheryl Fergison) pregnancy, nobody really believed it was Darren Miller (Charlie G Hawkins) but lo, it was.
Jeff made the revelation about Edna while discussing Cain’s Judgement Day plot, saying that right before he’s attacked, “He is really rude to Edna, has a massive argument with Zak (Steve Halliwell) and says he doesn’t care about anything any more.”
Jeff added, “Then he goes into the pub where everyone says to Chas (Lucy Pargeter) not to serve him. So he has a go at everyone in the pub…” Read more & comment »
