Channel 4 have recorded a Celebrity Come Dine With Me special featuring former EastEnders star Cheryl Fergison, dance pro Lionel Blair, the fossilized remains of Keith Harris and his puppet Orville and reality TV ‘star’ Kerry Katona.
And as Kerry – despite frequently declaring she’s broke – has recently spent £8,500 on liposuction, when she saw that a breakfast fry-up was on Cheryl’s menu, she elegantly declared, “I’ve just had a tummy tuck I can’t be eating this s***!”
She added, “This is a lot of fried food, it’s not good for my belly this.”
However, rather ridiculously, Kerry’s own menu included fish and chips with a pudding of ice cream.
A friend of Kerry’s – yes, apparently she has one, though paid or unpaid hasn’t been revealed – told the Daily Star, “She was really stressed as she is a useless cook.
“She can barely boil an egg and always lives on ready meals. So she thought she’d keep it simple and made her favourite dish, fish and chips… Read more & comment »

As fans of Celebrity Come Dine With Me will have seen in last Friday’s edition, David Van Day – who also took part in I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here and Coach Trip – has incurred the wrath of his former girlfriend by singing Dollar tunes during the episode.

David and Sue – who perform as duo Rich and Famous – tortured their dinner guests with songs such as Mirror Mirror, Oh L’Amour and Who Were You With In The Moonlight.
The Daily Star reports that after seeing the show, Thereza said, “How dare they sing Dollar songs. And badly… Read more & comment »

Phil Spencer: Secret Agent
It’s a daytime bonanza on Channel 4 this October, as a brand new property series, three popular celebrity spin-offs and a special twist to a daytime classic all begin to make those autumn days brighter.
Channel 4 favourite Phil Spencer kicks things off making his home in the daytime slot with brand new property series, Phil Spencer: Secret Agent. Coming to the aid of homeowners across the UK trapped in properties they just can’t sell, Phil will act as a secret agent to work with sellers and buyers in order to help get the market moving again… Read more & comment »
March 15th, 2010 by TV Writer Lynn. Tags: Celebrity Come Dine with Me, Channel 4, Claire Sweeney, Darren Day, Kim Woodburn, last night's TV, last night's TV reviews

Ordinarily, I find this show to be as dull as ditchwater, and only tune in occasionally to have a Through The Keyhole nosey at the contestants homes, but last night’s offering was, by any standard, worthy of the word ‘classic’.
Epic might be another description; it was just that good. And why? Because of Kim Woodburn.
She spent the entire episode being wholly inappropriate, and it made for fantastic viewing. She even got as tired and emotional as a newt at Claire Sweeney’s house and inbetween bouts of discussing celeb skidmarks – Kim used to be a cleaner to several stars – she managed to be very insulting to the food on offer too.
