What’s happening in tonight’s Hollyoaks and Coronation Street (11/06/12)

Hollyoaks

After all the stress of last week’s fundraising party, the Savages are horrified to discover that all their money has been stolen, meaning they can’t buy the camper van after all, but who took the money?  The finger points towards a student who couldn’t pay his dorm fees.

Cheryl (Bronaugh Waugh) is stunned to see Walker (Neil Newbon) back in Hollyoaks, and naturally questions Brendan’s (Emmett J Scanalan) motives.

It is starting to look like Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe) forgiveness of Lynsey (Karen Hassan) wasn’t as sincere as we night have hoped, as she sets to old tricks to try and stir things up by casting doubt about Riley’s (Rob Norbury) relationship with Mitzeee (Rachel Shenton).

Coronation Street – Hour long episode tonight!

Things come to a real head with little Simon Barlow tonight, when after a heated confrontation with a teacher, the youngster heads home causing his family all amount of worry as they search for him.  When Peter (Chris Gascoyne) returns to the flat, Simon hides in a cupboard and finds Carla’s (Alison King) secret wine stash.  When Peter and Carla finally return to the flat having had no luck locating the youngster, they find him unconscious on the sofa, having consumed the lot!  Feeling useless, and to blame, Carla suggests she leaves, what will Peter say?

Karl (John Michie) is not happy with the current accommodation situation which sees his partner and bit on the side living under the same roof, especially when Sunita (Shobna Gulati) tells him she wants to be with him and not Dev (Jimmi Harkishin).  Unable to believe the cheek of his mistress, taking sympathy and support from the woman she is betraying, Stella (Michelle Collins), he turns a bit nasty making his point clear!

Meanwhile, Sophie (Brooke Vincent) has convinced Dev to fight for Sunita, faced with the reality of her affair, will she go back?

Eva (Catherine Tyldesley) starts to feel hopeful that she and Nick (Ben Price) could be on the right track to get back together when a lack of staff and an influx of customers sees them thrust together, but when news of Simon’s condition hits, it is clear that his mind is well and truly on Leanne (Jane Danson) and not her!

The crowd gets impatient waiting for Will’s (James Atherton) headliner at the Savage party, will he have to admit the truth, or will Dennis (Joe Tracini) save the day?

A Savage family secret is unearthed in the enchanted garden, how will Dodger (Danny Mac) react?

The frost seems to be thawing between Megan (Gaynor Faye) and Robbie (Jamie Shenton), could they make a relationship work after all?

It’s Savage Party Week at Hollyoaks, and if the trailers are anything to go by, it’s set to be a scorcher!

Ste (Keiron Richardson) has a big decision to make, will he chose Doug (PJ Brennan) or Brendan (Emmett J Scanalan)?

The day of Savage Party has arrived, but can Will (James Atherton) deliver all he has promised and save the family from the travelling fairground?

With disaster looming, Dennis (Joe Tracini) turns super hero to save the day as he embarks on a Savage party rescue mission to Liverpool.

There is an extra special one-off episode of Hollyoaks on E4 tonight, at 7pm, this episode will not be repeated, or available to download or catch up on, so make sure you tune in, there is a very special guest appearance.

Dodger (Danny Mac) and Will (James Atheron) take sibling rivalry more seriously than their current predicament, but when they refuse to join forces, a big and potentially costly decision is made, who can save the Savage family from disaster?

After his fight with Doug (PJ Brennan), Ste (Keiron Richardson) turns to Brendan (Emmett J Scanalan) for comfort.  Brendan seizes the opportunity, offering Ste a new business deal, and a little something else…

In the meantime, Texas (Bianca Hendrickse-Spendlove) and Leanne (Jessica Forrest) try and help Doug find a way to win Ste back, but is it too late?

Emmerdale

Chas (Lucy Pargeter) has a hunch about her sister’s mood swings, and gets her to take a test…..

It’s Savage Party Week at Hollyoaks, and if the trailers are anything to go by, it’s set to be a scorcher!

Ste (Keiron Richardson) and Doug (PJ Brennan) are happily an open couple now, and seals the deal by presenting a Jubilee cake to the village to mark the celebrations, ash!

Riley (Rob Norbury) and Lynsey (Karen Hassan) try to figure out the best way to tell Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe) about their relationship, wouldn’t like to be on the wrong end of that ‘rock, paper, scissors’ that’s for sure!  But Mercedes, it would seem is in good spirits, but that could all change now that Mitzeee (Rachel Shenton) is back in the Village, especially when she falls over herself to drop an almighty bombshell to her secret stalker!

Despite Myra’s (Nicole Barber-Lane) court date looming, the McQueens go into full swing marking the Jubilee and Michaela’s (Hollie-Jay Bowes) 21st birthday, but whilst they celebrate in typical McQueen style, Bart (Jonny Clarke) returns from the court with some devastating news!

Emmerdale

The whole village turns out to celebrate the Queens Jubilee at the Woolpack, what could possibly go wrong?

Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) finds the struggle with the rent too much and has to ask for help.

Zak (Steve Halliwell) wants to come home to his family again, but is this the news that everyone wants to hear?

Alicia (Natalie Anderson) is faced with the heartbreaking task of making plans for Jake when she is in prison, but can she get what’s best for him (read spoiler article here)?.

Coronation Street

It’s the day of Rita (Barbara Knox) and Dennis’s (Philip Lowrie) wedding, but whilst Dennis waits nervously at the registry office, a drastic move by Tina (Michelle Keegan) puts Rita at serious risk when Rick (Greg Wood) kidnaps her on the way to her wedding!

Meanwhile, the rest of Weatherfield await the happy couple at the Coronation Street jubilee party, well almost all of them, Sunita (Shobna Gulati) and Karl (John Michie) seize a perfect opportunity to sneak off again, but when disaster strikes, will Sunita be forced to reveal their affair in order to get Karl help as he finds himself trapped in the corner shop?

Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe) tries to bury her head over her feelings about Sillas and ends up spiralling down a familiar and dangerous road.

Doug’s (PJ Brennan) confusion grows, despite the best efforts of his closest friends.  As the situation reaches boiling point, Ste (Keiron Richardson) is forced to make a difficult business decision.

Will (James Atherton) is not the flavour of the month with the rest of his housemates as he plays good Samaritan to the rest of the Savage clan!

With Bart (Jonny Clark) and Sinead (Stephanie Davies) on the run, a frantic Dianne (Alexandra Fletcher) heads over to confront the remaining McQueens.  Meanwhile, Jacqui (Claire Cooper) appeals to Bart’s better side to not drag his girlfriend down with him, will he listen?

The strain of knowing his family’s financial strain is really starting to take its toll on Callum (Laurie Duncan), especially when his mum’s demands start affecting his exam revision.

Darren (Ashley Taylor-Dawson) and Nancy (Jessica Fox) put their pub quiz war to one side just in time to celebrate some exciting news!

Emmerdale

Brenda (Lesley Dunlop) organises a family dinner now that the ice has finally thawed between her and Amy (Chelsea Half-Penny), what a fantastic time for Val (Charlie Hardwick) to return….

Later that evening, Amy lets it slip to Val that Eric (Chris Chittel) has been seeing someone whilst she was away.  Not one to be deterred, or replaced, Val makes an announcement in the pub that she and Eric are back together, leaving Brenda feeling humiliated and devastated, will she be noticed?

Ali (Kelly Hollis) goes after the boys who had been bullying Sean (Luke Roskell), but as she goes to teach them a lesson, she loses control of her anger, can she control it in time?

Tyrone’s (Alan Halsall) efforts to surprise Kirsty (Natalie Gumede) on her birthday work alright, but not in the way he wanted.  Furious at certain guests being present at her party, Kirsty lashes out violently at Tyrone again!

Stella (Michelle Collins) and Karl (John Michie) celebrate their anniversary, whilst an ever increasingly jealous Sunita (Shobna Gulati) looks on.

Mandy’s (Nicola Stapleton) news seems to tip Ian (Adam Woodyatt) over the edge, as his erratic behaviour increases and he frantically continues planning the wedding regardless, it would seem the only thing that has the power to stop him at the moment is his bank balance!

Noticing this, Phil (Steve McFadden) steps in and threatens the chip shop owner, concerned that he is close to breaking point, whilst Mandy seriously wonders if the wedding is a mistake.

Whitney’s (Shona McGarty) plan of Tyler (Tony Discipline) putting Derek (Jamie Foreman) in his place backfire tonight, as whilst the Moon brother prepares a romantic evening for his girl, an unlikely friendship is formed between him and the gangster!

Will the McQueens come together to protect Bart (Jonny Clark) , and will he be around to see if they do?  Bart is so out of depth, but will he reach out for help?

Whilst his mind should be on his General Studies exam, Callum (Laurie Duncan) finds his concentration drifting towards his mum’s financial situation.

Nancy (Jessica Fox) belittles Darren (Ashley Taylor-Dawson) whilst he is preparing for his pub quiz, how much ridicule can he take?

Emmerdale

Sean’s (Luke Roskell) new infatuation leads him to being discovered, how will Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) react?

Lisa (Jane Cox) bites her lip as she has to tell her family that they won’t be seeing Zak (Steve Halliwell) for a while.

Carmel (Gemma Merna) is delighted when her gym crush asks her out!

Its exam time, but whilst Sinead (Stephanie Davis) and George (Stephen Roberts) are busy studying, Bart (Jonny Clark) applies the laid back approach.  However after Jen (Amy Downham) tells him he has what it takes to enrol in art college, there is a glimmer of hope in the young McQueen’s future, but when he returns home to see his entire family being arrested it quickly disappears!

Callum (Laurie Duncan) is finding living with his mum too much to handle, and considers making a bold move for his education, but can he swallow his pride to ask a certain person for help?

Emmerdale

The Dingles are left feeling very deflated after a trip to see Zak (Steve Halliwell) highlights just how bad his condition really is.

Ashley (John Middleton) is very cagey when talking about his new job, what is he hiding?

Eric (Chris Chittel) and Brenda’s (Lesley Dunlop) holiday is disrupted when Amy’s (Chelsea Half-Penny) needs are put first, leaving Brenda far from happy!

When will Declan (Jason Merrells) learn to but out of other people’s business?  Not tonight when he visits Robbie (Jamie Shenton) to try and convince him to give his mum a second chance!

Coronation Street

Eva (Catherine Tyldesley) is in a spiteful mood after thinking she has stumbled on Nick’s (Ben Price) affair with sister in law Kylie (Paula Lane), and stirs the situation so that David (Jack P Shepherd) attacks Nick at the Bistro.  But when the matter is finally cleared up, Eva is distraught to learn Nick’s decision

It’s the evening of the dinner party round at Dev’s (Jimmi Harkishin) where blissfully unaware cheated spouses, Dev and Stella (Michelle Collins) get very drunk, whilst forbidden lovers Karl (John Michie) and Sunita (Shobna Gulati) feel the tension of the situation reach boiling point.

Things turn nasty as the custody battle between Peter (Chris Gasgoyne) and Leanne (Jane Danson) begins, despite Ken’s (William Roache) attempts to mediate.

EastEnders

Ian (Adam Woodyatt) is finding finalising the plans for his wedding difficult as Lucy (Hetti Bywater) is two steps behind him cancelling them all.  This results in a huge row with some home truths flung around for good measure.

It would seem that Roxy (Rita Simons) is having difficulty cutting off her feelings for Alfie (Shane Ritchie) now that they are under the same roof, whilst Christian (John Partridge) tries his best to make her.

Kim’s (Tameka Empson) plans to prove she is step-mother material seriously backfire!
