The Wire’s Clarke Peters to join Holby City
The Wire actor Clarke Peters joins the cast of BBC One’s Holby City in July as Donna Jackson’s father in a compelling storyline.
From 14 July, Clarke stars as Derek Newman in a storyline that sees him admitted to the hospital with a serious medical condition. He discovers he has cancer of the splenic flexure, pancreas and abdominal wall. Not good news, but operable.
Ric Griffin faces the challenge of saving Derek’s life.
