On Monday, Mark wakes in his hotel room only to find Natasha’s gone. He finds her enjoying breakfast and is shocked when – after she notices a call from Faye on his mobile – she throws his phone into a pot of coffee. Mark declares that he sees no way to escape from Faye and that Natasha should divorce him if they can’t mend their marital problems.

Natasha’s shocked by his announcement but states that he may not be worth fighting for anyway. They head home and confront the children, ready to explain that they’re getting a divorce, but Natasha backtracks at the last minute. She tells Mark that she’s decided the only way to make their relationship work is to get rid of Faye and Ryan once and for all. Can the Wyldes unite to silence Faye?

Meanwhile, the doctor tells Lexi at her follow up session that her remaining fallopian tube is damaged and therefore there’s no chance she’ll ever be able to conceive naturally. Lexi returns home and dissolves into floods of tears as her world falls apart around her. Carl gets home from work eager for news and Lexi lies that she was given the all clear. On Monday in the 7:30pm episode, an excited Jason and Tina tell Eileen about their plans to buy a property and do it up. Eileen’s slightly concerned about how quickly everything’s moving, but she comes round to the idea. David Platt however is never going to warm to the idea of Jason and Tina being an item and he boasts to Jason how he put Gary behind bars to ensure he couldn’t get his hands on Tina.

Jason tells a furious Tina who confronts David and spells it out to him that she’s with Jason now and she never wants anything to do with him again. Will this news push David over the edge?

Sally tells Kevin that she wants to throw a party for her birthday and invite some ‘nice people’ round. Kevin’s much more preoccupied with Molly and half heartedly agrees, but when he goes to try and see Molly, he spies Tyrone giving her a bunch of flowers and a kiss. Feeling hurt, Kevin has no idea that Tyrone’s telling her he’s cooking dinner to say sorry for getting drunk and spoiling the previous evening. Read more & comment »

On Monday, Minty’s still reeling after walking in on Phil and Dawn together the previous day and is snappy towards his boss. When Phil leaves, Garry quizzes Minty as to why he’s in such a mood and Minty tells him that Phil doesn’t respect them as much as he should but Garry defends Phil, claiming that he’s a decent guy.

Dawn then bumps into Phil at the café but she’s paranoid that Garry might catch them together. Phil, however, is indifferent and he tells her they can cool things if she’s worried. Later in the day, Manda’s excited about her night out with Minty but he’s preoccupied with the knowledge of Phil and Dawn’s affair. Despite his best efforts, he’s unable to find the right moment to break the devastating news to Garry. Read more & comment »
