On Monday at 7:30pm, Tony’s a desperate man and as he frantically tries to cling on to the new life he’s created, he packs Maria off to a health spa for the day, knowing the police are about to come calling.
Keeping up the façade, Tony goes to work but when the police arrive and arrest him on suspicion of Liam’s murder, he can feel his world falling apart. Down at the station Tony’s interviewed about the Croppers allegations, and as the police pile on the pressure, saying they’ll speak to Maria, will Tony crumble and confess to murder?
Meanwhile, Roy and Hayley return to the café and are relieved to hear that Tony’s been arrested and taken to the police station. But as gossip about Tony’s arrest spreads, Maria arrives back on the street. Is she about to discover the awful truth about Tony? Read more & comment »

On Monday at 7:30pm, as Hayley takes over the relief manager’s job at the factory, the gossip about Tony continues. The pressure’s starting to get to Hayley, and she wonders if she’s up to the job. Roy’s also feeling the heat and unable to stop thinking about Tony’s hospital confession, he decides it‘s time he got some answers.
Arriving home, Maria finds Roy waiting for her, she demands to know what’s going on.
When David overhears Gail and Joe discussing their engagement, he’s distinctly unimpressed. But it seems nothing can dampen their spirits; that is until Joe gets a knock on the door from a debt-collector… Read more & comment »

On Monday at 7:30pm, ss word of Tony’s heart attack spreads through the street, the factory girls gossip unaware of his fate. Roy meanwhile is in turmoil as he tells Hayley about Tony’s shock confession.
Hayley puts it down to the drugs Tony was on, but Roy’s sure there was more to it. Determined to get the truth, Roy returns to the hospital. But when he’s met by Maria, who’s arrived back from Cyprus in a terrible state, she has some shocking news of her own. Has Tony taken the truth to his grave?
Ryan’s appalled to discover Michelle’s spent the night with Jake. Embarrassed, Michelle ushers Jake out of the flat. Dev meanwhile refuses to pay Jake’s bill for the roof repairs, claiming it’s too steep. In retaliation, Jake removes a section of roof tiles from the cornershop. On Monday at 7:30pm, Kevin and Molly arrange another secret date. But when Pam overhears Molly lying to Dev, asking for time off because her dad’s ill, she smells a rat.
After checking Molly’s story with Tyrone, and forcing Molly to lie again, she becomes suspicious. Molly meanwhile is oblivious as she and Kevin play at husband and wife by visiting a show home and calling themselves Mr and Mrs Webster. But as they arrive back in the pick-up truck and share a steamy kiss, they‘re watched by a stunned Pam.
Tony breathes a sigh of relief as Helen and Barry leave for Ireland. But his relief is shortlived when Maria tells him she thinks they should get in touch with Carla and tell her about their engagement. Monday night’s first episode kicks off a dramatic and compelling week’s viewing for Coronation Street fans as Carla returns to Weatherfield and time starts to run out for Tony Gordon…
It’s the day of baby Liam’s christening, and after a difficult start to the day, an uneasy truce is called between the Connors and Maria and Tony. Helen’s touched and grateful when Maria relents and dresses Liam in the family christening gown.
As the family settle down for lunch, Tony proposes a toast, but is interrupted by a phone call. Clearly unsettled by the call, Tony tells Maria and the Connors that he has to go to an emergency meeting but assures them he’ll be back in time for the christening. Leaving the house, Tony heads straight for the cemetery and Liam’s grave where Carla’s waiting for him!! Read more & comment »

On Monday at 7:30pm, Lloyd has a hangover and regrets spending the night with Teresa. Meanwhile, Teresa’s walking on air and nips to the corner shop to buy breakfast. Teresa’s proudly telling Darryl about her night when Lloyd drives past in his cab – he’s clearly doing a runner.
Teresa’s gutted but promises she won’t breathe a word particularly to Liz. Liz apologises to Lloyd and tells him she’d like to give their relationship another go. Lloyd confesses to Liz he had a one night stand but doesn’t tell her who with – step in Michelle who unwittingly spills the beans to a horrified Liz. Is this the end for Liz and Lloyd once more?
Tyrone’s upset after Molly’s behaviour recently and accuses her of no longer being interested in him. Molly tries to make light of it and leaves for work, but Tyrone tells a worried Kevin he wants to talk to him about Molly. What’s on Tyrone’s mind? Read more & comment »

On Monday at 7:30pm, as the post arrives, all the Street’s residents receive a surprise letter from John Stape, explaining that he and Fiz intend to live on the street and he asks for their support.
Roy and Hayley are sympathetic whilst Norris and Dev are appalled. Sally meanwhile is furious to discover John’s been writing to all her neighbours, and is further incensed when she and Kevin receive the same letter. Like a woman possessed, she calls a meeting in the Rovers, intent on drumming up anti-John support.
Kevin has other things on his mind though; he’s desperate to spend more time with Molly and has found a 10k run is taking place in Glasgow, so he lies to Sally about entering it. Despite her initial insistence that he support her at the Stape meeting, she gives him her blessing and, with Tyrone happy for Molly to go too, the illicit lovers look forward to a romantic break. On Monday at 7:30pm, it’s Fiz’s big day, but the bride to be is full of pre-wedding jitters, and with Chesney still refusing to go, it’s looking like being far from the happiest day of her life.
Fixing a smile, Fiz puts on her dress and prepares to leave. But when she’s greeted outside by a vitriolic Rosie, she’s more on edge than ever. Arriving at the prison, she’s met by John and finally admits to him that everyone’s against them, including Chesney. Will John be able to calm Fiz’s nerves or as the registrar waits, is Fiz about to get cold feet?
Rosie plays it cool with Luke at the factory, but secretly, she’s hatching another plot to win back her man. Inventing a fake meeting, she tells Luke he needs to meet his landlord back at the flat at lunchtime. She then secretly steals his mobile and texts Michelle to make sure she’s there. On Monday at 7:30pm, Emily’s struggling to get on with her life after Ramsay’s shock death. But when she returns from work early, she gets little sympathy from Norris. Unable to stand his coldness, Emily turns to Rita, admitting that she’s sick of losing loved ones and having to pick herself up.
As Rita comforts her, Emily decides to call an uneasy truce with Norris, but how will she react when Norris reveals he’s planning to refuse all that Ramsay has bequeathed him?
As Fiz heads out wedding dress shopping, she informs Kirk of where she’s going but urges him to keep quiet, explaining that she wants to tell Chesney herself. However, when Kirk lets slip to Chesney about Fiz marrying John in prison, it looks like she‘s missed her chance. Chesney storms round to the factory where a major row ensues. On Monday at 7:30pm, Leanne’s back on the street and reveals to Janice that she’s split up with her boyfriend. Hearing about her arrival, Peter dashes round to see her and they arrange to meet for lunch.
As Peter explains how he’s dealing with his drinking, Leanne’s impressed. He thanks her for helping him realise his problems and lies that there’s been no-one else since she left. As he begs her to come back for good, will Leanne be able to trust Peter again?
When Eileen walks downstairs in the morning, she’s horrified to discover she’s been burgled. The TV, DVD player and radio are all missing and in her panic, she fails to spot Jesse’s parrot escaping. Jesse’s mortified, especially as his van’s gone too. The police arrive to investigate but when Sean admits that he brought a bloke home last night and he must have robbed them, Eileen’s gobsmacked. On Monday at 7:30pm, Steve gets the break he’s been hoping for when Lloyd spots Slug outside a pub. Slug tries to make a run for it, but Lloyd tackles him to the ground and ties his hands until Steve arrives. Steve tries to get him to admit to planting the drugs in the Rovers, but Slug refuses to talk. Steve and Lloyd bundle Slug into the boot of the car as he begins to worry about what they have in store for him.
As Jack checks the Gazette for flats, Molly’s supportive but Tyrone’s not happy she’s encouraging him to leave. Connie reiterates her offer to Jack and is pleasantly surprised when he agrees to move in. Aware the news won’t go down well, Jack enlists Molly’s help in breaking the news to Tyrone. On Monday at 7:30pm, it’s the morning of Claire’s charity fete, but what starts out as a fun filled family day turns out to be more dramatic than any of the residents could ever have imagined.
Claire’s in her element as she rushes round organising all the stalls, but as she gets caught up in the excitement of her fundraising, she hasn’t got time to listen to Joshua when he complains his mouth hurts. Little does she know that Joshua’s swallowed a bee. As he suffers a severe case of anaphylactic shock, he collapses in front of Janice.
Meanwhile, Norris refuses to join Emily and Rita as they run the cakes stall and sits alone at home. However, he’s disturbed by a knock on the door from the police who reveal that Ramsay died on the flight to Australia. As Norris sits alone in shock, Emily admits to Rita how much Ramsay meant to her. It’s clear the news is going to have a big impact on them both. Read more & comment »

On Monday at 7:30pm, a shocked Gail takes photos of David’s injuries for the police. David reckons it was Joe who beat him up, but Gail’s upset and doesn’t know what to think. Joe eventually arrives home, having spent the night in his van, and he’s shocked at the state of David, swearing to Gail he had nothing to do with it.
Tina meanwhile is horrified at David’s injuries and asks him what time he was attacked. The nature of her questions make David realise that Tina thinks Jason was responsible, and he’s furious. Tina confronts Jason, but he swears he never even saw David last night. It’s clear Tina doesn’t believe him and it isn’t long before the police turn up at No.11 and arrest Jason on suspicion of assault. Read more & comment »

On Monday at 7:30pm, Becky’s released on bail and is convinced that no one will come and collect her, or want anything to do with her. But as she’s leaving, Steve arrives and tells her that he’s been there half the night. He apologises for ever disbelieving her but things start to unravel for Becky back on the street; Kelly makes a sarky comment and then Liz tells Becky everyone thinks she’s a drugs dealer and she’s not welcome in the pub. Becky storms off feeling deeply hurt.
Sophie encourages a reluctant Kevin to take up running again in time for the fun run. Under pressure, Kevin agrees after Sophie blames Molly for going on holiday and tells Kevin she’s had a look at a charity website and suggests he could raise funds for them with his run. Read more & comment »

On Monday at 7:30pm, Tina’s convinced David has something to do with Joe’s drug addiction. David proclaims his innocence but Tina knows David of old and she’s not buying it. Meanwhile, the doctor wants to prescribe methadone for Joe to alleviate his withdrawal, but Joe refuses any more drugs.
The doctor tells Gail the only way Joe will get through the next few weeks is with her full support, so Gail lets Joe know that she’ll be there for him, but she later admits to Audrey that she’s not sure she can deal with Joe’s addiction and is feeling trapped.
With the wedding just days away, Eddie shows Steve his grand design for the wedding cake, but Steve’s unimpressed and is distracted by seeing Becky with Slug again. Unbeknownst to Steve, Slug demands cash from Becky, and when she’s not forthcoming, he threatens to turn up at her wedding. Read more & comment »
