On Monday, David starts to get suspicious when he sees Leyla with Nathan and demands she start being honest with him. When David assumes she’s having an affair with Nathan, she’s forced to admit that the truth is far worse and Nathan has been blackmailing her. When she reveals that she slept with Nathan to keep him quiet, David’s disgusted. Will David be able to forgive Leyla?

Meanwhile, Laurel has the hangover from hell but is unsure how she managed to get so drunk last night, especially when it was Sally and Ashley that ended up drinking her anniversary champagne. Will Laurel catch on to Sally’s scheming?

On Monday, David blames Nathan for the car accident after calling on Leyla and worried for her welfare, insists that she go to the hospital to be checked over. At the shop, Doug mocks the accident when Nathan arrives and Leyla is clearly uneasy. Doug, on sensing an atmosphere, makes himself scarce and Nathan doesn’t hesitate in rubbing salt into the wound to Leyla about her imminent visit to the police station.

Moments later, Gennie comes across an inconsolable Leyla in the village and listens intently as she confesses all. Returning from the police station, Leyla confronts Nathan and hands her notice in. Nathan thrusts the notice back in Leyla’s face, frustrating her so much she slaps him. Menacingly, Nathan warns that unless she does as he says, he could make her world come crashing down. How far will Nathan’s blackmailing go?

Meanwhile, Sally’s settling back into life at the Thomas household much to the delight of Laurel and Ashley who are relieved to see Sally so content. Later, Laurel returns home and is put out when Sally’s adamant she’s happy to look after the children, frustrated with Ashley for allowing her to do so. Is Sally settling in too well? On Monday, oblivious to the atmosphere between her parents, Debbie’s touched when Charity hands her a small gift for her birthday. Cain, looking on disdainfully at Charity’s display of affection, smugly hands Debbie the keys to a new car and she’s clearly thrilled with his generosity. Later, Charity spots her chance to do a runner and insists that Debbie head off to the restaurant. As the whole family await Charity’s arrival, Debbie puts in a call but is left fleeing the restaurant when Noah answers and informs her that they’re leaving. Will Debbie catch Charity in time?

Meanwhile, Laurel’s on edge at the factory as she waits to hear from Sally. Desperately worried for her safety, Laurel heads off to Sally’s and is greeted by Vincent announcing that she isn’t in. Explaining that Sally’s gone shopping, a phone call interrupts and Laurel is left confused as she witnesses a measured and professional Vincent. Is Laurel starting to doubt Sally’s stories?

Mark asks to meet up with Faye secretly and tells her how he feels, but when Mark kisses her, Faye gives him an ultimatum – it’s her or his family. Insisting he needs time, Mark’s left in turmoil. Will Mark leave his family for Faye?

Meanwhile, Nathan invites Ryan and Katie, Leyla and David to a gig, saying that he can get them in on the guest list and boasts about the backstage access. He clearly wants Leyla all to himself and is pleased when David isn’t able to attend. Will Nathan’s scheming be discovered?

Suspicion aroused, Laurel airs her concerns to Ashley about Sally’s inconsistency and after failing to get any reaction other than sorrow for his ex, a frustrated Laurel takes it upon herself to address the matter with a coy Sally. Later, Ashley returns home to be confronted with an announcement from Sally that she’ll be out of their hair by the end of the week. She’s pleased when it causes tension between him and Laurel. Is Sally really up to no good?

Weary of his relentless ticking off, Moira can’t take anymore and casually hands in her notice to an irritated Diane. On Monday, Leyla’s delighted with her new designer shoes and covers that she paid for them on her credit card. However, when Nathan arrives at the shop to take the petty cash tin and balance the accounts, she starts to panic and confesses her crime to Gennie, who warns her she could be in trouble with the police.

Nathan instantly realises money is missing from the petty cash, and Leyla tries to hide her guilt when he places the responsibility on Doug as the manager and questions whether he’s trustworthy.

In the pub later, Maisie comments on Leyla’s shoes and when Nathan overhears her telling Leyla £250 is a bargain for them, he realises she’s responsible for the missing money. Feeling she has no choice, Leyla owns up to Nathan who’s annoyed, but tells her if she returns the cash within the month, he’ll look the other way. On Monday, Mark’s clearly agitated about Faye and is taking it out on the rest of the family. When he makes the decision to cancel his golfing trip, Natasha isn’t happy and demands he stop acting as though he’s jealous. Mark covers that he’s concerned for Ryan and when Natasha says that Faye’s only toying with him, he hesitantly agrees to go on his trip.

Later, Natasha confronts a defiant Faye in The Woolpack toilets, telling her she’s pathetic and that Cain will use her for whatever he can get and then toss her aside. Back at the bar, Cain tells Mark, in front of Natasha, that he’s welcome to Faye, adding that she’s nothing more than a “clingy tart”.

Mark rises to the bait and furiously follows Cain out of the pub, ignoring Natasha’s order to stay put. Faye tells him she knows he’s jealous and that he loves her, he’s just not man enough to admit it. Mark’s unable to deny it and she leaves him tormented when she tells him she’s not sure that she’ll still be there when he gets back from his trip. Read more & comment »

On Monday, Jai and Nikhil’s sister Priya arrives in the village wearing last night’s clubbing clothes. Not having enough money to pay the taxi driver, she asks a gobsmacked Jamie and Gennie to lend her the money.

She introduces herself to Eli and instantly recruits him as a drinking partner and they head to the pub. Priya drunkenly challenges Eli to a game of truth and dare and it isn’t long before he dares her to dance on a car. On Monday, Ryan’s astounded when Faye tells him she’s returned the money to Cain. He tells her that it was a bonus for bringing in a new contract and believing him, Faye goes to the garage later that day to apologise to Cain and agrees to take him for a drink that evening.

Cain continues to flirt with her at the pub and when they arrive back at her house, they finally kiss. However, Faye quickly pulls away and asks him to leave before things go any further. Is Faye falling for Cain?

In the village, Ryan’s excitedly packing his belongings for Dubai and is devastated when Mark arrives and informs him there’s no longer a job there for him.

Nathan’s puzzled when he witnesses them rowing and is later stunned when Ryan angrily blurts out that his dad was the one who sorted the job for him in the first place and has messed him around. Nathan quickly comes to the conclusion that his dad has had an affair with Faye and is furious as he confronts him.

Panicked, Mark admits he had a relationship with Faye but claims it happened six months ago. Nathan’s irate when he breaks the news to Natasha who confirms she already knows. On Monday, Val’s still hiding out in the B&B and is getting frustrated with Terry, who’s ignoring her constant demands. After seeing a forlorn Pollard moping around the village, he’s starting to feel uncomfortable about lying to everyone about her whereabouts.

Val assures him that the next phase of her plan is underway and calls Diane at the pub and lies that she’s in Thailand. However, when Pollard grabs the phone from Diane, Val hangs up. On Monday, Nicola’s worried when she notices Carl isn’t sharing Lexi’s enthusiasm for the IVF, and when she overhears him telling Jimmy not to release the money to Scarlett, she’s furious. She tells him if he doesn’t tell Lexi what he really wants, then she’ll tell her herself. Feeling cornered, Carl confesses to a devastated Lexi that he doesn’t want a baby and he can’t pretend anymore; he’s felt this way for a while but hasn’t had the heart to tell her.

Confused, Lexi tries to persuade him to change his mind, but Carl’s adamant and infuriates her when he reveals he went along with it because he felt sorry for her. Nicola arrives to find Lexi in floods of tears having thrown Carl out of the house. She tries to comfort her but Lexi’s upset when Nicola claims she knew Carl had his doubts all along, and she was the one who prompted him to come clean.
