Poor Rosie Webster, even a young girl as stupid as her doesn’t deserve to be left alone in a dirty attic wondering if she will live or die, but that’s exactly where she has been for the last week or two after being kidnapped by a mystery villain.
Many people suspect ex boyfriend John Stape, but after Rosie revealed Carla and Liam’s secret it wouldn’t be at all surprising if murderous Tony had locked Rosie up until his plan to murder Liam had come to fruition.
A Coronation Street insider told the Daily Star Sunday: “Rosie was the one who showed Tony the footage of Carla and Liam so he would benefit most from her being out of the way as she provides him with a motive for murder.

Coronation Street star Kym Marsh has told her boyfriend to commit to her properlyor face being dumped.
Kym has been dating Hollyoaks star Jamie Lomas for four months but the couple have reportedly been arguing a lot recently, including one very public row at a party last month.
According to Now, a source close to the couple commented that the two are not seeing eye to eye.
“He’s told her to stop being so paranoid, but she’s feeling insecure and just can’t help herself,” said the source.
“Jamie doesn’t do as he’s told. He’s not a lapdog and it means Kym has to get used to not having it all her own way. She’s even been checking his phone, but found nothing. She told friends that she thought she was well within her rights.”
Maybe the Steve-Becky storyline has made her more suspicious in real-life too.

This is a story of political correctness gone mad! Last week Tony Gordon in Coronation Street insulted Glasgow Rangers….God forbid!!! So after receiving numerous complaints from Ranger supporters, Corrie bosses have rewritten future scripts so as not to p**s them off again.
One of the character’s lines in a future episode read : “warm beer, the English national anthem and Glasgow Rangers” - but this has now been dropped.
A Corrie spokewoman said: “Both comments were in keeping with the character of Tony Gordon.
“But we have to bear in mind that it does seem to have caused some upset so the decision was made to take the line out.
“It doesn’t compromise the drama of the episode and if it did then the line definitely wouldn’t have been taken out.”
I didn’t think that a group of burly football fans would have been so easily offended or so hyper sensitive that they can’t even hear a fictional character express a dislike for their team.

Coronation bosses have given the Rovers Return a refit to ready it for a big fight scene which will air tonight.

Police were called out by worried neighbours when they heard screaming coming from a remote farmhouse.
What these concerned citizens didn’t realise was that the house was actually being used as a set for an upcoming storyline in which John Stape holds Rosie Webster captive for a number of weeks.
A Coronation Street spokesman confirmed the incident, adding: “We apologise to anyone unduly concerned. Due to the nature of the scenes, which are extremely dramatic, they did require Helen to scream very loudly.”

There’s so much going on in Corrie at the moment – both on screen and off – we thought we’d bring you a round up of the latest gossip and goings on from the cobbles but be warned, this article contains info about upcoming storylines so if you don’t like spoilers, don’t read on!
To start with, I suppose it was inevitable, but I’m saddened/horrified to hear that Coronation Street actor Ian Reddington – who plays loser in love Vernon – plans to release his on-screen ballad ‘Don’t Fall Into The Mason’s Arms’ and hopes it’ll be a Christmas number one. Oh god; come back Cliff, all is forgiven.
Earlier this month, Vernon Tomlin hoped to win back the heart of his blonde bomb site wife Liz by wooing her with the song which referred to her infatuation with bookie Harry Mason and his hope that she wouldn’t ‘fall into his arms’. It’s not his arms you wanna worry about her falling into or on Vern, but actually, there’ll be nothing of him to present any danger as of next month because both he and his odious son Dan are offski. Off screen it seems like things are working out for actor Ian Reddington too, as he is tipped to release the Corrie track in time for Christmas.
Vernon’s song, (Don’t Fall Into) The Mason’s Arms, was supposedly written for his estranged wife Liz MacDonald and speaking of its success, Reddington told The Mirror: “I’ve been blown away by the response to the song, which was written by Street scriptwriters. Read more & comment »
