Coronation Street: Liam Is Dead!!!

It’s been building for weeks and tonight Liam Connor was murdered in a hit and run.

Corrie bosses revealed last week that they had filmed three endings for tonight’s show, one entailed Tony pushing Liam off the balcony of his apartment, another saw Tony shoot him during a game of paintball and finally, the one that aired, Liam being killed in a hit and run accident.

I think it was pretty obvious from the start which storyline would be chosen. If Tony pushed Liam off the balcony of his apartment, he would be very much in the frame with the police, the same was true from the paintball scenario. A hit and run was the only end Liam could meet without Tony being implicated.

Would You Buy Coronation Street Knickers?

Coronation Street bosses are said to be planning a huge range of Corrie merchandise to celebrate the show’s 50th anniversary in 2010.

The range is reported to include tea sets, pub food and clothing lines. The clothing lines will include knickers from Coronation Street factory, Underworld.

So would you wear Coronation Street knickers? I have to say that I would consider it if they were emblazoned with the face of Rob Collier (Liam Connor), but if they were anything like the cheap tat that Janice Battersby knocks out on a daily basis, I think I’d have to give them a miss! You don’t want cheap lace irritating you in all those hard to reach places now do you?

“I don’t think they have got into their stride yet because they are still so young. But when they do, everyone will know about it. These girls have the potential to be legends on Corrie. I am very proud of them.”

Coronation Street: Who Locks Rosie In The Attic?

Poor Rosie Webster, even a young girl as stupid as her doesn’t deserve to be left alone in a dirty attic wondering if she will live or die, but that’s exactly where she has been for the last week or two after being kidnapped by a mystery villain.

Many people suspect ex boyfriend John Stape, but after Rosie revealed Carla and Liam’s secret it wouldn’t be at all surprising if murderous Tony had locked Rosie up until his plan to murder Liam had come to fruition.

A Coronation Street insider told the Daily Star Sunday: “Rosie was the one who showed Tony the footage of Carla and Liam so he would benefit most from her being out of the way as she provides him with a motive for murder.
