The devastation of losing Graeme toher best friend, Xin, has only just begun to set in for Coronation Street’s Tina McIntyre, but it would seem that a suitable replacement has already been lined up.

We could all tell that good hearted Tina’s (Michelle Keegan) plan to get her beloved Graeme (Craig Gazey) to tie the knot with best friend, Xin (Elizabeth Tan) in order to allow her to stay in the country, would end in tears and in true soap style we were not disappointed.

Craig Gazey has confessed that he has already worked out a storyline for his return to ‘Coronation Street’.

The actor’s character Graeme Proctor will appear for the last time on the ITV1 soap next Monday, after he cheated on his girlfriend Tina with his fake wife Xin (Elizabeth Tan). He originally claimed that he would not return to the ITV soap but now Craig admits that he had already thought of a way back.

He said: “If I could write Graeme’s comeback story, I’d maybe want him to end up widowed and return to the cobbles on his rickshaw with a child in tow. I’d love to see him deal with being a single father.”

We all watched with our breath held on Friday, as the moment we had all been expecting, and secretly longing for happened, when Graham and Xin admitted their true feelings for each other, and sealed the deal with a kiss!

It has not been long since we witnessed the fake wedding of Graeme (Craig Gazey) and Xin (Elizabeth Tan) in order to secure her visa, at the request and organisation of Graeme’s real girlfriend, Tina (Michelle Keegan). Craig Gazey has left Coronation Street.

The actor revealed on Twitter that he filmed his final scenes for the ITV soap yesterday. Reports previously suggested that his character Graeme Proctor will leave Weatherfield, when he cheats on his girlfriend Tina McIntyre (Michelle Keegan) with her friend Xin Chiang (Elizabeth Tan).

Corrie star Craig Gazey – who plays dopey window cleaner Graeme Proctor – has revealed on This Morning that he’s so forgetful, he used a Post-It note to remind himself not to stay too long on the show.

Craig is of course about to leave the show after playing the role of Graeme for more than three years.

While appearing on the ITV talk show, he said, “I wrote a little Post-it that said ‘don’t stay longer than two years’.”

He went on to say that his decision to leave Coronation Street was because he didn’t want to get too comfortable in any one role.

The 29 year old actor has starred as hapless Graeme Proctor on the ITV soap for the last two years but will leave this summer, after his character splits from his girlfriend Tina McIntyre.

‘Coronation Street’ star Craig Gazey has gained a huge pay deal to stay on the show.

The 28-year-old actor – who plays butcher Graeme Procor in the ITV1 soap – told bosses he was keen to leave and pursue a career in theatre, but was convinced to stay with the promise of more storylines and a big salary increase to £150,000 a year, up from £90,000.

It seems that in upcoming episodes of Corrie, hairdresser Natasha Blakeman is going to assume that Graeme and David – played by Criag Gazey and Jack P. Shepherd respectively – are gay!

Apparently, the storyline is that Graeme gives David a shoulder massage following David’s sustaining an injury, however, Natasha hears David “groaning” and jumps to all the wrong conclusions.

As her relationship with Jason breaks down, Tina finds herself alone and unable to get her life back on track as her world crumbles, and in a shock storyline, Tina’s reportedly going to attempt to starve herself to death.
